If you have the "map is missing" error for some reason, you can download directly from https://wolvesdentf2.site.nfoservers.com/server/maps/<mapname>.bsp.bz2
Some common maps we see this happen to are the house of chaos maps which you can get here:

trade_houseofchaos2b [wolvesdentf2.site.nfoservers.com]
Use 7zip or Winrar to extract the map to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\download\maps

Alternatively you can navigate to tf\download\maps and delete the incomplete map and rejoin the server again. We usually see the map download correctly on a second attempt.
