Ballpoint Universe is a pretty good western shoot-'em-up, though way too grindy if you want to get all of the ship customization stuff unlocked without cheating. I did cheat once I beat the game to try a bunch of the weapons I'd never gotten unlocked during my playthrough, and completed all achievements (even if several of them didn't unlock properly for me) in about 6 hours.

It also has a platformer-styled worldmap between the shoot-'em-up stages. This has utterly terrible controls even after you switch to keyboard controls, but thankfully it never asks you to do anything extremely hard and there's no penalty for failure, and the worldmap is very pretty.

All in all a solid recommendation, especially for the artstyle. It's also dirt cheap.

This is basically Lethal Application only much more involved (stages require more exploration and there's many more of them, and you can swap between 5 characters) and, unfortunately, much less enjoyable because I did not feel the levels were very well-designed. I guess I could see playing it if you need more Lethal Application, but that game is free and better, so at least play that one first...
