Why is Charizard the best? I'm glad you asked, I'm here to convince you or at very least have somewhat of a understanding as to why I find him to be the best

1. In Gen one the pinnacle start to the Pokemon series and lifespan and one of three main defining elemental types to flesh out the starting roster, Fire, Grass, and Water, being a Fire type

2. A gentle giant while being a fierce devastating glass cannon on account of if it's tail goes out it can die. (Which is sad to think about..)

3. The flame on its tail can be used as a portable heat source and can be used to light campfires

4. Great cuddle/snuggle partner! Big and round, lots to hold and grab, natural warmth, big reverberations caused by noises it can produce can massage in a way.

5. All around a certified cutie!! If you disagree you can fight me behind the back alley of a Denny's located next to some random Furcon that's currently going on.

Personal side notes:

May be number six in the Pokedex but, they're a number one in my heart!

Charmander is the best starter Pokemon, Charmeleon is a certified twink, and Charizard is Daddy/Mommy alpha

Will and most certain can destroy me in a sfw way and nsfw way as in U ♥♥♥♥♥♥' wU and O ♥♥♥♥♥♥' wO
