I have had this game for a long time, and i played nearly 1,500 hours of it so of course I did enjoy it when i started. I enjoyed the competitiveness of it, it was a game that you improved as a player not as a character. If you wanted to aim better you sat yourself down watched videos and practised for hours to get the aim you needed to win the next match. I put time and effort into learning maps and call outs, i wanted to improve. Put that was a few years ago. Now i feel like when ever I play a game all i get is regret and boredem. I dont enjoy it any more. The map updates are terrible and reduced my frames massivly till i got a new computer. I ran into more and more hackers and smurfs till it just wasnt fun. All valve did was add skins after skin till i just didnt care anymore. I lost intrest and gave up. What was the point in practising if when i hit a certain rank all i find is hackers and smurfs.
CSGO always had its problems with hackers and smurfs but I feel like it has just gotten worse, the map changes just seemed unneeded to me they might look pretty but i didnt want pretty i wanted to game play. Maybe one day I will come back to the game and hopefully it will have changed but its just no longer fun, I no longer want to try and improve myself in the game. Valve care more about the money they make off skins than fixing the VAC system or adding better servers.
Would I recommend this game, well I have in the past but now I dont know. I did enjoy my time on the game back when I started and it was new but now its just some game that I used to play.
