Tabaxi Monk Sim.

as in, this is a RUNNING sim. an auto-runner of sorts. god, just go fast! and a pretty one too, until you get a face full of rocks or lasers or what have you. also, the music is top notch, 10/10 for helping you get in the zone.

gameplay and mechanics wise this game is pretty damn good, fast paced, bulky mechs duking it out at absurd speeds over objectives with a neat setup to boot. execution wise... just go play Armored Core 6 PvP instead: the amount of mech customization is limited even within Mashmak, and what does exist is just stats and begging to be on the edge of P2W, you have to grind levels to be able to fix up your pilot if you mess up things in the initial chargen, and the teammates you get in this game are too busy fighting to remember there is objectives at times to the point it's bordering on C9ing games at best and outright doing so at worst. and the mechs belong in a hero shooter space moreso than the genre it's trying to step into.

as it stands the game needs an overhaul and a half to survive being an afterthought.

let me start by saying that the game still is good, but the main thing i'm docking it for is stuff the devs say it has, and are no longer working as far as i know. Multiplayer is MIA, Weeklies aren't functioning, and all this stuff about needing an account seems to be lacking a means to actually get an account for.
EDIT: online seems fixed now!

that said god i still wish that marble was me.

so you're telling me this was originally going to be an MMORPG before they had to scale back and make it an ARPG? hell of a story as to what prompted these devs to ditch the GaaS model in favor of just making it a playable game. combat's fun, the loot progression's great, there's a big open world to explore. all you need is friends and you're golden.

i may be a moron.
turns out all i had to do was some basic research, follow what customer support kept throwing in my face, and the temp fix works.

anyway i still stand by the game being good. just be prepared to do a little under the hood fixing if you got intel on your PC.

really simple and fun autorunner of a driving game, even if in action it's not as simple. you know exactly what you bought and signed up for. and for anybody complaining about politics, grow a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ spine, the pride flags aren't even the focus, going fast is, and i didn't see any of you complain when Need for Speed or other racing games used cops as obstacles.

y'all just mad because you wanna be mad at someone, not because the game is ♥♥♥♥ (which it isn't).

ngl, i was hooked on both the character creator and the whole 'oldschool action RPG with friends' premise. i was expecting it to simply end up "Just another Furry Game" at the end of the day. and yet this suggestive as ♥♥♥♥ game has some real meat on it's bones and a hell of a bite to boot thanks to the learning curve. and no, i'm not talking about Angela's slappable rear end, you perv.

i haven't tried the online yet, but that's mainly out of being a stubborn solo recluse.

and this is just an early access title. what the ♥♥♥♥ are you cooking, Kiseff. your kitchen fulla code has the finest food since Balatro and Baldur's Gate 3. my only complaint is that there's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of keybinds and it's hard to find a cozy setup, but that's a skill issue on my part more so than Kiseff's due to everything being rebindable.

if you're still reading this and intend to buy, just know that this game expects you to be decent at videogames and not a cliche video games journalist. you will get slapped around to the point of being forced to respawn if you don't give even basic mobs some respect and gear up.

i have more hours on record than shown due to the next fest demo, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, i love what Windblown has going for it alongside the furbait PCs

a load of weapon variety (Sirocco my beloved), bountiful synergies that pile on top of each other, combat and movement is fast and responsive.

play the demo first.
the intro cinematics and plotdump cutscenes are so godsdamned long that it is impossible to play enough of the actual game before the refund window.

that said. if the demo sold you, why the ♥♥♥♥ are you reading this outside of waiting on the game to finish downloading? go out there and kick some ass and have some kaiju battles!
