CS2 after about 500 hours: This game feels SO inconsistent. I really wish I knew what it was in a detailed technological manner so it could be reported upon and fixed. People speculate that the game is built for LAN and that's why it feels so bad above 50 ping, but I really couldn't comment. Looks and plays great generally, though it's a lot heavier than CSGO to run. Valve could do more work to give the community what they want.

Edit@2.2K hours: The above still applies but passion and enjoyment of the game can't push me to pay for third party matchmaking anymore. Valve seems to care so little for the gap between mostly casual and ultra serious player that I've lost all desire to play anymore. I mostly lurk the esports scene and wait for a big patch now, but I've not got much hope.
