Okay, let's start with the fact that I dedicated myself to Mass Effect

Mass Effect has so much to offer you, it has different sides to it

You have the action part, where you can be a biotic push people around and make shockwaves, or be an engineer and make drones that fight your battles as you spray fire everywhere! Or go as a vanguard and charge against everyone, be a sniper and scope all of your enemies, or even go the old fashioned way and be a soldier and use all your weapons.

And then there's the lore and the story part..
I can not express enough how much, I, LOVE the lore. The story after every race is just so big, you have a codex explaining even how your damn ship works. You have the asari, salarian, turian, Krogan and many other races which all look very diffrent and all kickass.
As for the story, you begin to care for your squadmates, you want to keep them alive during the missions and so you upgrade your ship for it, there's just too much to type here.
