I didn't even watch it, jumped down the comments and glimpsed over them, but okay, also from the comments I saw they didn't seem to think the video was satire (side not I looked at your profile cause I was curious what other games you have played that you think this game of all games in P2W, you literally play BDO, which is much more P2W than wiz, yet I don't see you reviewing that game saying its P2W?

well, guess you cant beat stupid. the video is satire.

Just saying, 100 hours isn't much of an achievement, i've clocked in probably easily 8k hours in the past 11-12 years, if not more. Also the video is literally titled "wizard 101 is not pay to win" just because you think things he talks about could be considered P2W, that is your opinion, not fact, the fact of the matter is, anything you can buy, you can earn something equally as good or better, by just playing. (besides, as i said, the best resist gear, but they are working on an alternative, but also trying to balance it since resist gear is quite OP, can't make it super easy to get)

i didn't get driven away by its p2w foundation, how do you think i clocked 100 hours? i knew this game was p2w before i even started playing, i'm even planning to play more with a friend.

and of course, here's a video showing the unfairness you can buy with your moms credit card! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j5moEEVC5Z0
surely this guy doesnt have a blatant lack of knowledge of the game and its mechanics!

Also you have barely played the game, you don't know almost anything about it. Houses are as cheap as 8k gold, which you can make easily by level 20 (houses unlock at level 15 lmao) and as for mounts, you can either wait for a single character to get enough gold, or just pay a 1 time $10 for a mount you have forever and can use on any of your characters if you transfer it to them. Not a big deal considering you pay $10 a month anyways, if you really can't stand going slow for a little while than you can spare $10 to speed it up if its that big of a deal, that's really the only advantage players who pay have, and its quite small one considering its only for the first like 1/4 of the game at most if you are smart about your money and save. Anyways im done here, i just wanted to post these here so maybe some people will read it and won't be driven away by your blatant lack of knowledge of the game and its mechanics.

bruh it doesn't give you a significant advantage, you might get a wand with 2% more damage and 15 more crit or something, not like they get things that completely break the game, almost everything that is good gear (besides jade gear, but they have said they want to address adding better resist gear for players outside of packs) takes grinding, not paying, most you can do is pay for pet snacks to speed up pet training, but they made that super expensive to discourage it. Its literally $5 for 8 snacks, or you could get to Mirage (one of the later worlds) and get them 10x easier, and renewable, with gardening. Pets aren't needed at all till later in the game, and they are MEANT to be obtained later in the game, any low level who has a good pet, likely trained it on a higher up wizard and transfered it to their new wizard to use (a perk of actually playing the game rather than giving up and saying its pay to win cause you don't know how to get things without paying.

What Does Pay-to-Win Mean? In the simplest terms, "pay-to-win" describes a game where paying real money gives players a significant advantage over those who don't spend any money

Also you know you don't have to pay for the hatching timer reset right, you can just wait it out? Also, you can now craft the hatching elixirs, recipe is sold in the pet pavilion as well :) You just sound like someone who doesn't wanna take the time required to do stuff in this game, its a very grindy game if you wanna min max your stats, also a very long game to play all the way through, if you aren't prepared for that, than yes, don't play, but its by no means p2w, and has been becoming less and less pay to win all the time, its pay to play, due to memberships, but so are most MMOs. I'm not trying to be rude whatsoever, but don't spread misinformation about a game you've barely played (i know you have 100 hours, but in the grand scheme of the game that's barely anything)

Okay where do we start, first of all, the crown pets are almost all obtainable from the hatching kiosk located in the pet pavilion, there are multiple mounts that cost gold from the crown shop, multiple houses that cost gold from the crown shop, and houses do not have varying effects, the red barn farm and botanical gardens are the only 2 with effects and they are the same effect, and one can be purchased for gold as well, wands while yes some of the best wands are crown wands, that's only at endgame and also there are multiple options for players who don't wanna pay irl money that you can farm for or craft.
