The most fun I've had with a detective game since Obra Dinn.

Roottree has a mix of in-game web searches (kinda like Her Story), and deductive reasoning to make for an incredibly interesting game about figuring out 50+ years of the Roottree's family history. Slowly pulling it apart will make you feel smart as heck, and there's even a few red herrings thrown in to make sure that the investigation isn't completely 1-dimensional.

If you like detective puzzle games then this is an absolute must play.

Also, it's worth calling out that there are 2 campaigns to play through if that's something you needed to know before making a purchase.
