Hey Gillorien, EA messed up the launching in steam on the game, and as your guide is pinned in the discussions I thought I would leave you this so others can fix the game and you can edit the guide slightly to include this quick dirty fix.

Open the EA app with it connected to your steam account it should pull your dragon age origin into it and use their repair function on the game. It will then launch from either the EA app, steam, or the desktop shortcut.
You will most likely need to download the EA app, I don't think origins sets it up.....could be wrong though.

I read your post on how to fix the DA origins game and mine still doesn't work. Would you know how to help?

Yes it was very enjoyable. At the end, I was so afraid I lost you! :) But then I recognized your glyph and voice. Damn I was relieved.
