No tutorial. Difficult to play a game when all you can do is just keep hitting quick-battle, getting shot down, checking the controls again, rinse and repeat. Not a great way to learn. Will be refunding and only coming back if a proper tutorial is added.

I wasn't really sure about whether or not I'd play this again. I got about half-way through the game and just got bored and stopped. Today I decided maybe I'd try to git gud and p-rank the game on violent.
That decision made me enjoy this game so much more. It made me value the mechanics at my disposal more, forced me to learn new tricks and implement them into my gameplay, and it gave me an opportunity to do some really cool ♥♥♥♥.
Sure, you could go through the game using only the shotgun and doing projectile boost after projectile boost because that's the only trick you learned, getting Ds and Cs on most levels... or you could git gud and use everything you have at your disposal and tame this beast of a game.
It's up to you to decide.

This game was bad, now it's worse. Unfortunate. Practically abandoned at this point, the dev has made no meaningful contributions to actually improve the game in a long time. Don't buy this game.

I'm not sure there's a dev team out there more respectable than GSG. They've made the mother of all indie games. This game is a true labor of love, and it has proven itself more than worthy of praise.

I have to say that every new update since rival escalation has been either terrible or just disappointing. Every new monster has sucked more and more fun out of the game. I don't even kill corruptors anymore because they're mind-numbingly boring to fight, along with taking ages. Rival escalation was the peak of this game and I kinda miss the simplicity. All these new monsters are trying to add challenges where they just aren't needed. I wish they'd get rid of septic spreaders and whiptails and replace them with some reworked (or even a couple NEW) machine core events. We've been sorely lacking new events for a while.

A fantastic tactical shooter. Maybe the best tactical shooter since SWAT 4. That's all that I need to say, really. It's still only in beta, too. Can you imagine what this game will look like in the future?

It's nice to not have my eyes bleeding when I use VR. Thanks, LuxVR.

If you play VR, this is just a non-optional. You need this.

It has its uniqueness, and it is a cool concept. Really want to like it, but for a game so heavily prioritizing stealth--the stealth mechanics aren't very good. If the guards spot even the slightest glimpse of the shadow of your pinky finger, they're instantly alerted to your location and don't seem to ever drop from this alerted state--even if you try to evade them inside of hiding spots the game has literally designated for you.
