Cuphead in 3D.
If you are willing to put in efforts to understand all the mechanisms then this is the best experience I can think of. More you play, better you get, more rewarding it is.
All said game can be very punishing at higher difficulties for not playing the way it was intended, so first time around is always daunting. Also, on some levels you end up memorizing spawns, it ends up becoming game of managing all options you have and using them at correct time- It is more of strategizing rather than usual fun of shooting endlessly with the favourite gun.
Some enemies especially in DLCs require you to parry and maintain certain distance.

Overall- 10/10
Gameplay- 10/10
Story- 6/10
Graphics/optimization- 10/10
Music- 10/10

Gameplay-
All things I thought were good in Doom 2016 and then they made it better!
It is more video game-like compared to 2016 with sound effects and all the colours but with so much going on around, it is actually quite useful.
++Double dashes and MEATHOOK!! Movement feels so effortless. (except sometimes when you get stuck in the corner without bloodpunch)
++So many tools- equipment and guns/mods to use and their integration. I ended up using plasma gun a little less otherwise I am impressed by how every weapon had to be used.
+Level Designs and secrets. Compared to Doom 2016 it is easier to find secrets in this one which is actually better as I never had to look one up online. Locations the game takes place in and some of the cutscenes were just amazing. Can't beat blowing hole in the Mars.
+Main game vs DLC- To me main game was perfectly manageable and then came the DLCs which were quite difficult. But it was the DLCs which made me quick switch often and made me use those less used mods.
-Couple of challenges involving glory killing Archvile/Doom Hunter from left/right side were annoying.
-Sometimes Platforming can be tricky, some instances if you are not careful enemies can push you in corner resulting in quick death.

Music-
Couldn't have been better. I will be listening to the soundtracks on Youtube for long long time (sadly OST is not released on spotify).
Makes the hardest levels more enjoyable.
My top 3- Cultist Base, Atlanta Heavy, Only thing they fear is you.

Graphics/Optimization-
Can't beat this frame rate. DLSS also available.
Level designs, Enemy designs, background Details etc, really good.

Story-
It's good, especially lore in the main game. Hell concept is really well explained.
DLCs provide good conclusion tying all the loose ends but its lore was a little too much for me.

Edit / After Thoughts-
After total 120 hours-
Game did live up to my expectations, as I put in more hours my playstyle did change and rewards felt much more satisfying.
The UN is a big commitment (for which I tried - 27 attempts, don't have enough free time) so, I decided not to go for it after all. Instead I quite enjoyed the extra life mode run in nightmare without losing unnecessary lives.

Battlemode-
Quite fun, match ups- which weapon to use against which demon is fun to discover. Also, community is quite active.
7/10

Don't remember Horde Mode that much it was okay.
Extra Life Mode concept gets a 10, increases replayibility and also sets a stage for UN.
Haven't tried Masters Levels yet, will return to game in future for that and UN run. For now though taking a break.
