Recommended, definitely an S+ game, I do wish it was a lot harder, however.

No struggle, no real need to upgrade, honestly. I completed low rank upgrading once, and completed up to the last handful of monsters in HR only upgrading my weapon. I sincerely hope they up the difficulty across the board like they did in World, otherwise the upgrade system feels pretty mediocre outside of cosmetics. This is all coming from someone who has played Lance exclusively for the last three titles and has experience playing previous Monster Hunter titles, but this game definitely feels uncharacteristically easy. If you're a new player, you may struggle getting a grasp of the game and the enemies may be difficult, but I'm not so sure.

9/10 game, Story is pretty good for a monster hunter game. The NPCs are cool, Would be better if you could beat Nata and Werner with hammers. I'd love more MHW Crossover species, from either base game or Icebourne. Seeing Rathalos and Rathian is cool but maybe some of the other fan favourites, Bazel, Tobi-Kadachi or the any of the Elder Dragons like Kushala or my love Velkhana.
