Coroner - They did it. They made Coroner good. You love to see it.
Investigator - A mix of old and new, a little bit overtuned but still a welcome addition
Lookout - You either see everyone visit everything or you see nothing. No inbetweens.
Psychic - Boring, too much will clutter, nobody actually listens to you
Seer - The best TI in the game and you don't even have to work towards it
Sheriff - Boring, outdated, and desperate for a rework
Spy - Permanent Perception is... alright? Probably the weakest TI still though
Tracker - The same ol Tracker that we all know and love
Bodyguard - You now have 2 vests so you can be twice as suspicious!
Cleric - It's doc
Trapper - The best TP, TI, and TK
Crusader - Everyone fears you, Town included
Oracle - There is no such thing as a real Oracle claim
Vigilante - The Vigi rework is perfect, now you gotta take the game slow
Veteran - Oh god there's more of them
Trickster - They did it, they made Trickster fun to play
Deputy - The new most boring role in the game, desperate for a rework
Amnesiac - Just when you thought the Marshal was dead, another one takes his place
Admirer - Old Admirer was so cool man why'd they change it
Socialite - It's a busted TP and TI in the form of a TS
Tavern Keeper - Another boring role that sorta has to exist
Retributionist - Soooo fun in ToS2, reusable corpses for reusable fun
Jailor - Not as good as it was in ToS1 but it's still the best Town role, so...
Marshal - Running a Tribunal as Marsh is the best experience in the game don't @ me
Mayor - Good news! You can whisper again! Bad news! Conj, Rit, and Doom all exist!
Monarch - The most powerful evil role in the game
Prosecutor - Went from ♥♥♥♥ to overpowered to pretty good, love the cut scene too

Coven
Coven Leader - Really damn good and introduces a lot more strategy
Conjurer - Reckless townies get punished by the big rock :)
Medusa - The new Janitor, shame to see ToS1 Medusa go
Poisoner - I really like having a Consort who can also kill
Witch - Stupidly good, really shouldn't be able to see the roles of who it controls
Wildling - Really just needs *more* to warrant its existence
Dreamweaver - Townie didn't visit you? Oh well, you don't play the game anymore
Enchanter - Framer and Forger at once, I really like it
Voodoo Master - Making someone unable to vote is stupid
Hex Master - Needs to lose astral with the necronomicon, otherwise its solid
Necromancer - Do not claim Retributionist, you WILL die
Potion Master - Global reveals are stupid
Illusionist - The least fun of the coven, doesn't really do much
Ritualist - Town Power be gone!
Jinx - Getting recognised as an Ambusher Jinx Any% speedrun (WR)

Neutrals
Jester - Remove this role from the game please
Executioner - Claim Seer and say your target is an enemy and you win
Pirate - They did it, they got rid of the stupid RNG and made the role actually fun
Doomsayer - Either stressful as ♥♥♥♥ or the game just plays itself
Serial Killer - The same old SK but now gets angry
Arsonist - The same old Arsonist but... Yeah
Werewolf - The same old- Oh the Werewolves just killed each other
Shroud - The worst solo role in the game! Woo!

Horsemen of The Apocalypse
Plaguebearer/Pestilence - Early transformations destroy Towns but also sort of out you
Berserker/War - Juggernaut but he now has friends
Baker/Famine - Solo Baker is comparable to Solo Shroud, stupid and unfun
Soul Collector/Death - Seeing the Town, NKs, and Coven all come together is always great

Town
Investigator - The least boring TI, can easily carry a game if you lead town
Lookout - Such a boring role, I honestly dread getting this
Psychic - Nobody listens to you :)
Sheriff - Nobody believes you :)
Spy - please kill me N1 please kill me N1 please kill me N1
Tracker - You know what? I can respect this role
Jailor - I got all these responsibilities and I don't know how to manage them
Vampire Hunter - Hooray! All the vamps are dead! Time for mafia majority
Veteran - With my extreme baiting skills I managed to kill a Framer (and 4 townies)
Vigilante - All townies decide to act like a Jester and blame you when you shoot them
Bodyguard - My job here is done! Time to AFK until the game ends
Doctor - Don't you dare claim if there's a PM or SK in the game
Crusader - Everyone fears you
Trapper - Using all my skill, I managed to save the game by dying N2
Escort - Boring as all hell but very powerful
Mayor - whoops, accidentally lynched 5 townies
Medium - Now that Retri got reworked people will rarely stay in the game after dying
Retributionist - N1 - No dead N2 - No dead townies N3 - No dead usable townies
Transporter - I'm all about singlehandedly ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ up the entire town and accidentally killing 1 maf

Mafia
Disguiser - Getting recognised as a Disguiser Any% speedrun (WR)
Forger - I can assure you that changing the Sheriff's will to "I'm gay" was 100% necessary
Framer - I don't think there are any TIs this game :)
Hypnotist - Getting recognised as a Hypnotist Any% speedrun (WR)
Janitor - You can bet there are 3 different mediums in this game
Ambusher - Getting recognised as an Ambusher Any% speedrun (WR)
Godfather - You're definitely going to become the CL's puppet
Mafioso - Why are you sending me to the Veteran bro c'mon he's obviously Vet don't send me to him
Blackmailer - Getting assaulted by furry roleplayers through their whispers
Consigliere - Claim Invest and nobody will doubt you
Consort - And when the Mafia needed them the most, they turned into Mafioso

Coven
Coven Leader - Best role in the game do NOT @ me
Hex Master - Hey I hexed 9 please don't kill him oh okay you're going to kill him
Medusa - Either dies N1 or gets destroyed by an Escort/Consort all game
Necromancer - Why are there never any TPs in the game whenever you're Necro
Poisoner - Good thing I am 100% hard countered by Doctor
Potion Master - Claim Invest and nobody will doubt you (until you get shot by Maf)

Neutrals
Amnesiac - If you remember an evil role everyone immediately knows who you are
Guardian Angel - Easiest role in the game, you have to throw to lose
Survivor - Most boring role in the game
Pirate - Yarrrrr! I've lost all of me duels for the past 7 nights!
Plaguebearer - Nobody visits anyone as soon as you're Pesti so you're a glorified SK
Vampire - Hatred.
Executioner - Getting recognised as an Executioner Any% speedrun (WR)
Jester - Accidentally confirmed yourself as Town, Maf shoots you the following night
Arsonist - Honest to god gg if there's another Arso
Juggernaut - Now that he's buffed I can actually respect this role
Serial Killer - Nobody is ever going to side with you in a kingmaker
