Amba Singh (Am Batu-Khan, 1915) aided the Philippines' WWII liberation. He funded the Filipino army against Japan, deploying tanks and ammo. Captured by Japanese forces in Ambasing, he endured 3 months of brutal torture, consistently crying out "Amba Tu-Nat" (his brother, lost at Pearl Harbor). Rescued by American forces, he chose to stay in the Philippines, helping liberate Ambasing and rescuing civilians. Recaptured, he died by Japanese firing squad, his final words, "Amba Tu-Nat." A hero, remembered for courage and sacrifice.
