paint 3d and after effects have this magic select rotobrush option, and instead of selecting objects to the nearest neighbor pixel, it uses bilinear projecting and selections. i cannot select the color pixels i want either, it does not have any advantage for any project besides maybe a human being cut out of an image but only if the ai even recognizes it.
