Ok, this is how you hide a body:

Call 811 first to check if there are buried utilities

Then call 911 and report a body, they will check there and see find no bodies, so they won't check later

Then bury the body (upright, so as to leave a smaller footprint), the head should be at least 7 feet (2 meters) deep, roughly

Then kill a dog and bury it around 3 feet (1 meter) deep, above the body, so search parties will think it's just a dog buried there and stop digging

Then plant some endangered plant species up top so they can't cut the plants and dig there, this will force them to do dig sideways, minecraft style

Extra step: Put the body inside a mail package, so even if they find the body the police won't be able to legally open it, forcing them to give up the searches
