Free4Cargo (Starter's ship)

This ship is well suited for new players as it is free to build, uses only basic parts and can carry four cargo batches (128 parcels) at good speed. Any first-time Airmen can immediately use it take on the maximum number of delivery missions. You can also use it for gathering, as you can stow resources from below without boarding the ship. The ship carries two guns, you should avoid taking it into combat though.

If you want to make changes to it you are welcome to do so, I'd recommend staying at exactly 7667 mass though. Anything less means the lift capacity is more than 1.5 times the mass, anything more might lead to the ship getting too heavy with full cargo.
