Description
3 variations of steam era British style goods yard cranes as animated scenery assets.
(For scenery only, does not provide a game function.)
Available: Always

Animation is the crane turning by ~90° in each direction on a constant loop. One of 5 variations in timing will be picked at random when set on Auto. (This is intended to prevent synchronised crane dancing...)

Other options allow for variation in appearance of the base, etc. It uses some of the game's own textures and character as a railwayman (which can also be placed separately).

The options can be changed after the crane has been placed, by clicking on it.

The crates in the screenshots are part of my Asset Old Cargos mod:

If I've observed that correctly, the replacement should go quickly. The people were apparently not spawned as AI, since the "Idle" entries did not exist. As a result, these were not generated in the city but only in trucks and buses. These should be replaced directly with the update, since they should no longer have license authorization.

If they do spawn as AI, they will not be replaced. That's the problem with AI people. These are firmly attached to their spawn buildings/magnets. Only when you remove them do these Sims also disappear.

But as mentioned, the AI ​​should theoretically not have spawned because of the missing "idle" animation

I've now updated this mod to correct the issue with the game using the characters. (Though it may take a while for the game to replace the people as they respawn.)

I looked at the people. The metadata entries cause the problem. or for several problems. With the modern person, the license entries must be taken from the MDL, for both persons the availability years should be set to 1848-1849, otherwise they will spawn in the AI, but will be displayed incorrectly because of the "Forever" animation and when you remove the mod lead to problems. And the color configuration would have to be removed. I had the same problem with my people.

Hello JK,
I noticed something.

The people of the mod are spawned in trucks, but they are twisted slightly and their arms crossed.

Something seems to have gotten mixed up there.

The phenomenon only appeared with the mod and disappeared again after removing the mod.
