No Explosion Damage

Description
Description
Removes the explosion damage from exploding L and XL ships as well as station modules. Visual explosion effects are unchanged and it should be compatible with mods that change visual effects such as X4 Fire and Smoke.

THIS MOD WILL REQUIRE A NEW SAVEGAME UNFORTUNATELY
(only newly built ships and station modules won't have explosion damage).

This mod only changes basegame and DLC ships and station modules (and works with any combination of the DLC), any mods that add new ships will have their explosion set to the modmaker's preference.

Its from the explosion damage being contained in each macro. I can generate the diff files easily once I see what macros each DLC or update adds. I had played around with the parameters themselves to avert using this method but I couldn't get it to work and I don't have the motivation to re-investigate and come up with a better solution.

Question for the author (modder), what changes between versions that causes mods to stop working? Does Egosoft change file names, or the names of variables in those files? Whatever it is, it must be a pain to have to rewrite a mod every time an update is released (speaking as a retired software developer).

Not yet updated for the 7.0 beta and it may be a while before I update it for the 7.0 release and timelines

Apologies, this mod hasn't been updated yet for Kingdom End, and I haven't had the chance to see if this mod handles the new physics engine that came with 6.0

Out of curiosity, is it possible to write a mod (or even a config edit) that reduces the range of explosion damage rather than removing it entirely? I'm not asking you too, I'm just curios if it's possible. I don't mind the concept, but current range is insane. It's like every single module on the station goes nuclear when it explodes, which is just silly.

This is an essential mod IMHO. If you've ever lost a ship because just you exited a station hanger at the wrong time you will understand why its not a mechanic that adds anything to the game.

It will but it will take some time to write publish sorry, my copy of X4 and my mods and tools are all on another PC which is currently inaccessible. I may be able to write the mod from my current computer but my work is quite busy at the moment and I'm not sure when I would be able to schedule time for it (although I may have it done as early as by the end of next week). TLDR, not sure when it will be done but it will be :)

Essential mod, imho. Any chance this will be updated for 5.0 and ToA DLC?
