Really gives an alien kinda vibe to it, which was most likely the goal, good flow for speed :cutiedoll:

Oooh, I like the particle idea :D

Fair, on both counts; I just figured I'd offer my two cents. As for Kallisti's...I generally just found the pitlane hard to get into at speed, which I will readily guess is by design; it's basically a Star Wars Racer Oovo IV track at heart. Xar Gate also has a similar issue there, but it was much easier to find the pits at least.

My best guess as to something to aid players is a combo of signage and some kind of blue visual effect in the pitlane, like electrical arcs or rising particles.

Wipeout and BNG both have their share of suboptimal pitlanes and it seems to be a balancing factor in track design. A perfect pitlane that is quick and easy and also heals a lot would make it so the best strategy is to pit every lap and boost the extra shield away for faster lap times. (Kuiper Overturn has this problem.) The pit on this track costs very little time, so it shouldn't be very effective either.

The pitlane is always indicated by arrows on the HUD, which were added because of pitlanes that were not just relatively nondescript but also hidden behind blind corners and such, which is much worse. I could add signage, and probably should, but I think it makes less difference than you think (people can't find the pitlane all the time on Kallisti despite the massive sign).

An absolutely GORGEOUS track, and a fun run overall, but a couple criticisms, both to do with the pitlane:
-There could bear to be a little bit more length to the lane; as it sits it's quite short.
-It wouldn't hurt to have a bit clearer of an indication as to the pitlane's location; like, my first lap of the course, I was saying "Where's my pitlane?" and couldn't find it until I took a guess a lap later.

2280 generates physical pad models on the track based on which track sectors have pads on them. This feature is not always right and sometimes they point in silly directions. For instance, an upside down track will generate pads facing backwards.

The speedpads at the platforms are throwing ships away in 2280. I thought it's a fun embarrassing gimmick but it's not there in 2159, so I guess something went wrong?
