Number To E
[number] hundreds /[number] thousands IQ Play - When a gamer uses the most cleverest tactics to win the round(s).

AFK - short for "Away from keyboard", it's an old phrase that came from gamers that leave mid game for whatever reason.

Airship - Short for the top hat spaceship map.

Am(m)o - Short for the Armory

Angel - The Guardian Angel role

"Any Susses?" - This term and it's variants means "Are there any clues/leads/suspicious beans?"

Archae - Short for the "Unearthed Wonders"

Astron - Short for the "Astronaught" skin.

Asteroids - A word that's a shorten for the sentence "I cleared the Asteroids."

Baby - A term referring to the Mini-Crewmate.

BB - An abbreviation for Bling Bling skin.

Bean(s) - A shorten form of "Jellybeans", the terms are use interchangeably by the fanbase to describe the characters. Synomyns: Jellybeans, Tic Tacs

Big Brain - Clever

Biz Skirt - A shorten form for the Business Skirt skin.

BRB - Short for "Be right back", a gamer takes a short phase for something, but will return sooner.

BOPP - An abbreviation for the "Big Ol' Pumpkin Pants.

Boughs - A shorten form of the "Your Boughs So Green" skin, aka "YBSG"

Buddy System - A strategy that involves everyone traveling in a pair or more.

Burt - Short for the "I'm Burt" hat.

Button - It's short for the big red Emergency Meeting button.

Cafe - Short for Caferteria.

Cait Cap -Short for the "Caitlyn's Cap."

Call Reactor - The Imp(s) damaging the reactor/seismic stabilizer.

Call Oxygen/O2 - The Imp(s) damaging the Oxygen Generator

Camping - When someone purposefully stays in one room (e.g. the Cams)

Card - Shorten for the swipe card task.

Cap(Tain) - The shorten form of the "Cap-Tain" hat.

CCC - An abbreviation for the "Chaos Containment Crewmate skin.

CD - An abbreviation for "Cooldown."

Clank - Short term for the "Clank Pet."

Clear - Means that the color teammate is not an Imposter. Also known as "Safe."

Clutch Vote/Final Vote - The incorrect votes that gives the Imp(s) an easy guarantee win.

CMC - The "Claus, Mrs. Claus" skin.

Comms - Short for the communications room and the task by the same name.

Common Task - A task that all the Crewmates do or chooses not to do.

Cozy S - The "Cozy Sweater" skin

Crew - A term referring to numerous Crewmates, especially in a round, or just the species.

Crewbo - The "Crewbo The Clown" skin.

Crewmate(s) - The main alien characters whose goals is to do tasks, vote off the Imposters, and try to survive the round(s).

Crewposter - A term that's referring to a bug that happens to the Imps were they can't kill and do any Impostor stuff.

Critical Sabotage - When a sabotage to a critical area (like the reactor and the seismic stabilizer) isn't fixed in time, this will reward the Imps an insta win.

"[Color] is Good" - A phrase confirming that a Crewmate is not an Impostor.

"[Color] is Bad" - An accusatory phrase when a Crewmate is deem suspicious.

Cosmicube(s) - Cosmicubes are another way to gain cosmetics, pets, and other stuff for free, these are unlocked by using the in-game currency called "Pods." The latter can be earned by playing.

Cube - A shorten term for the "Deitied Guy"

Dark Blue - A nickname for OG Blue

Dark Green - A nickname for OG Green.

DC - This term is when a gamer is disconnected from the server unexpectedly.

Death Valley - The nickname of a Polus area between the left of Communications and under Electrical with a Node.

Decon(tam) - Short for the Decontaimination task.

Ded - Short for a murdered victim.

- The "Digging Kid" skin.

Doc - Short for the "Blue Scientist"/"OG Scientist" skin

Doors - When an Imp closes one or more doors.
Double/Triple Kill - A term is when two or three Crewmates get killed off by a bunch of Imps in the same place and time.

Double Kill - It's when two Imps kill at the same time. A cousin to any Imps doing a huge stack kill like that (like "Triple Kill.")

Dr. Dark - A nickname for the "Dark Scientist" skin.

Elec - short for "Electrical Room". Aka "Electrical."

Elf - Short for "Santa's Helper"

(U/L) Eng - This term is for the Skeld's Upper or Lower Engines.

Engi - Shorten form of "Engineer."

Fan Arts - Fan generated artworks that are about a product that they love (or hate), in this case, it's Among Us. (Note: Not all of the fanarts are safe for the kiddies or work.)

Fanfiction - Stories that fans make about a product that they love (or hate), in this case, Among Us. (Note: Not all fanfiction are safe for kids or work safe).

Fan Works - Media that fans make about a product that they love (or hate), in this case, Among Us. (Note: Not all fan works are family friendly or work safe).

Fez - Short for the "Fez Up."

Fortegreen - He's InnerSloth's test dummy and used to be assigned to new players before connecting, they have the name of "???". He was removed during one of the 2020 updates. Fortegreen has slight differences from his playable peers, like weighing 132 pounds.

Franken B - Short for the "Fankenbolts" hat.

Franken Pet - Short term for the "Frankendog" pet.

GA - An abbreviation of "Guardian Angel."

Gaslighting - Arguing in bad faith just to convince someone that their observations or reasonings are downright wrong or flawed.

Gen. G. - A short term for the "General Galeforce" skin.

Gen. H. - Sort for the "Generally Speaking" hat.

GG - short for "Good game"/"Great game", it's a quick and polite way to let the others know that you enjoy playing with them. Also, a morale booster when a game goes sour.

Ghost Chat - A separate special private chat that's design for the Crewmates and Imposters that died and became ghosts. The living can't see the supernatural conversations.

Ginger - Short for the "Gingercrew"

GLHF - "Good Luck. Have Fun."

- The "Guarding The Wall" skin

GG - short for "Good game"/"Great game", it's a quick and polite way to let the others know that you enjoy playing with them. Also, a morale booster when a game goes sour.

Halo - Short for the "Innocence" hat.

Hard Accuse - It means that you saw the murder take place, like in the cams, and very strong evidence against someone.

Haz - The "Hazmate" skin

Heim - A shorten form of "Heimerdinger's Suit."

Heim Hair - Short for the "Heimerdinger's Hair" hat.

Hero Cap - Short for the "Hooded Figure" hat.

Heart - Short for the "I Heart U" hat.

Horns - Short for the "Imp-ressive" hat.
I - L
IDK - Short for the phrase "I don't know"

Imping - Acting very suspicious.

Imp - short for "Imposter(s)."

Imp Color(s) - A phrase referring to the color that has high probability of being selected as Impostor(s).

Imposter - The shapeshifting alien that's suppose to sabotage the tasks/machines and kill off the Crewmates (Or "Impostors" both spellings are correct).

"If It's Not Him, Vote Me Next Round." - This phrase and its many variants means, if the accused is innocent, they should vote out/kill the accuser. In the correct hands, this strategy could mean a victory. (Note: Pulling this tactic is tricky, if the number of gamers are down or worst, "Confirm Ejects" is off.)

"I'll Follow [Color A], If I Die, It's Them." - This phrase is use by a Crewmate(s) to root out Imposters and prove that they're innocent in a risky way.

Jayce - A short term for "Jayce's Council Suit"

Jay Hair - A short term for "Jayce's Hair"

Jinx - A short form for "Jinx's Clothes".

Jinx Hair - Short for "Jinx's Hair"

Keys - Short for the Polus key task.

Kick(ing) - When a host uses this feature to kick or outright remove someone from their game.

Lab - Short for the laboratory.

Lava - Short term referring to the Magmate pet.

Light Blue - A fandom nickname for Cyan.

Light Green - A fandom nickname for Lime.

Light Pink - A fandom nickname for Rose

Lights - Short for the Fix Lights task, this is occassionally use to refer to the Office or Electrical.

Lobby - It's the area where the gamers spawn into when they join a game. It's also the name where the actual game is being played.

Lockers - Short for the Locker Room.

Lost Friend(s) - A person that another bonded over in a round or 2,000, but they both were separated. It's very difficult, nigh impossible for them to reunite.
M - P
Main(s) - It's a person who sticks to one main color (or more).

Marinate - An Imposter strategy to trick Crewmate(s) into thinking that they're innocent, that way the innocent Crewmate can vouch for them in later on.

Med - Short for the Med Bay or Medical.

Meeting - The event that brings everyone together after a report/emergency button was press to discuss things of who the Imp is and try to vote someone out. aka "Meet".

Miner - Short for the "Underminer" skin

Mira/Mira HQ - Short for the floating city/laboratory map.

Morph(ling) - A slang term for Shapeshifter(s).

Nav - Short for the Navigation room.

O2 - The names of the Polus greenhouse and the name of the room that has the Oxygen filter tank.

OG Colors - These colors are the "original colors" that were in the game, day one, and before the 2021.6.15 update. They are: Red, Purple, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Lime, Black, Brown, White, Cyan, and Pink.

Old Kill - A quick way to say when a Crewmate was killed a while ago.

Noob - A newcomer to the game and trying to learn how to play.

OP - short for Over-Powered.

"[player] Vented" - When a Crewmate is accused of using the vents to get around, which is what only Imposters can do.

Panel - It's an interactive "panel" that appears over the main game where a Crewmate can check the locations, especially the highlighted tasks, or a Imposter uses to sabotage.

Pathing - The route someone takes to go from A to B.

Polus - The name for the volcanic yet snowy planet.

Poro - Short for the "Heimerdinger's Poro" pet.

Pot - Short for the "Digging Helmet" hat.

Private Lobbies - These lobbies aren't open to the public, except for family and peers of the host.

Public Lobbies - These are the game areas that are open to the whole world, ANYONE can join. - This is where 99.9% of the crazy stories come from.

Purp - Short for Purple.
Q - S
QDroid - "I have the Asteroid task."

QAdmin - "I was at Admin."

QCafe - "I was at Cafeteria."

QEgg - "I saw a Shapeshifter Egg."

QEngi - "I'm an Engineer."

QMani - "I've Manifolds."

QMe - "It's not me"

QRep - "I report finding the body."

QProof - "I have proof."

QScan - "I scanned."

QSci - "I'm a Scientist."

QShifted - "I shifted."

QSimon - "I've Simon Says."

QVent - "I saw them vent."

QVitals - "I have the vitals."

QTask - "I've done all of my tasks."

QTrash - "I've trash."

QWeapons - "I was at Weapons."

RE - Stands for "reconnecting."

Reactor - The Reactor room.

Reac - Another short form of "Reactor", sometimes meaning "Reactor Meltdown."

Rep - Short for "reporting."

RHM Skin - The Right Hand Man skin

Round - A space of time betwix the "Emergency Meetings" and the gameplay.

Sabotage/Sabo - The act of damaging a system or area to increase the Crewmates' losing chances.

Safe - A Crewmate that's confirmed to not be an Impostor.

Sandbagging - When an Imp purposefully not murdering just to create an alibi.

Scan - Short for doing the Med Bay scan task.

Scary Bag - Short for the "Mask, The Monster Mask" hat.

Scuba - A shorten form for the "Aquatic Apparatus" hat.

Science - Another name for the Scientist.

Sec - Short for Security.

Seismic - The Long duration of the Polus critical emergency, aka the "reactor"

Self-Report - A term is used when an Imposter reports on the body of his murdered victim.

Shields - A term for the Shields and occassionally the Prime Shields.

Shifter - A short term for "Shapeshifter"

Shoot - A slang term for ejecting or voting someone out. Aka "Yeet",

Simon Says - A name for the Start Reactor task.

Skeld - Short for the spaceship map. Also known as Dleks during April's Fools.

Slow Kill - This occurs when the Impostor(s) delays with killing and the Crewmates are very close to winning.

Spawn Kill - When an Imposter kills a Crewmate right after when they both spawn.

Specimen - Short for the Specimen Room.

Squig - The Squig pet.

SS - An abbreviation of Shapeshifter.

Stack Kill(s) - When the Imposter kills in a huge Crewmate crowd, the ensuring chaos makes it difficult to find who did the deed.

Swipe - Short for the card swiping task.

Sus - Short for "suspicious".
S - W
Second/Third/Fourth Imposter - An accusatory term for a crewmate that who is "cheerleading" the Imposter(s), throwing the game, and making it harder to win for the other Crewmates. Mainly increasing the odds of making the Imposter(s) to win.

Smooth Brain - A term for someone who is oblivious or has done something very stupid.

Soft Clear - When someone thinks that another Crewmate is mostly innocent.

Spite Vote - It's merely voting to get rid of someone out of spite.

SS - When a Shapeshifter impersonates someone.

Still - A type of soft accusing someone of stopping a sabotage (e.g. "Red still when the lights died!")

ST Blu - A shorten form for "Sports Team Blue"

ST Red - A shorten form for "Sports Team Red"

Task Win - It's when the Crewmates win by task completion.

Teaming - This occurs when a Crewmate KNOWs who the Impostor is, either defends the guy or keeps this knowledge hidden from the others. Doing this is frown upon.

Throwing - It's when a player looses a game that he's close to winning.

Trash - Mainly use to say that a Crewmate emptying the garbage.

Troll - A guy trying to get an reaction out of people or going the extra mile and exposing people to be hypocrits, besides getting a laugh.

Unicorn - Short for the "Magical 'Corn" hat

Vent - This became both a noun and verb to describe Imposters using the vents to get from Point A to Point B.

Vent Goblin - When an Impostor mostly hangs around the vents and makes use of them throughout the rounds.

Vent Kill - When an Imp kills a Crewmate and uses a vent to make a clean get away.

Vi - short for "Vi's Clothes" skin

Visuals/Visual Tasks/VT - They are the tasks that a Crewmate does were the others can see being done via animations, like the Med bay scanning, shooting asteroids, or throwing out the garbage. Not all tasks have animations.

Voted/Voted Out - When a gamer gets way more votes than anyone else, this will get him ejected.

Vouch - When someone verifies that a Crewmate is innocent, because they have been with him/them for the round mostly.

Weapons - Refers to the Weapons room, but occassionally use to say that they finish the asteroids task.

"Where?- short for "Where's the body?" A phrase to use to find the crime scene and the Imposter.

Who? - Short for "Who was killed?" Or "Who did it (killed someone)?"

Wires - A shorten form of the phrase "Fix the wires" task.

Witch - A shorten form for the "Whimsy Witch" skin.

Wiz Hat - A shorten form for the "A Real Wiz" hat.
