Class 152: The Ultimate 153 Stand-In Pack

Description
KieranW Presents: The Ultimate Class 153 Stand-In Pack!

This one's been something that I slowly worked on over about a month and a half, and I'm quite proud of the final result! 50 liveries (With more planned!), With quite a few of them being extremely obscure liveries that only existed for a couple of months ago, or decades ago - Additionally, this has been my biggest pack TO DATE, once again going above and beyond my previous packs in size.

It was rather tedious to look through 100s of photos to try and make all of them as accurate as possible, and then of course, I had to adapt them to fit the 156 bodyshell instead of the 153's more boxy bodyshell, which came with a whole host of extra challenges - Additionally, I was completely on my own as to finding where specific parts of the textures were, and what they painted, adding to the challenge - But I think I did manage to pull through, and make a solid product.

Some fictional backstory on The Class 152

In my own headcannon to these, Back in 1988, BR's Reigonal Railways Division was looking for a smaller unit for branch line operations and small rural routes where there wasn't too much demand - In the wake of privatisation however, they were looking to spend as little money as possible, and so, decided to look into converting a existing set of multiple units, into single coach units, with a second cab added at the trailing end.

In the end, they had 3 choices, The class 155, the class 156, and the class 158 - In the end, they decided to go with the Class 156, as they had surplus units to spare. The work started in 1991, and was completed by 1992. These replace the 155 in being converted, and thus, the 155 is still a large fleet of 42 in this timeline.

Pack Contents

Do remember, That due to this being a 152, Which is based on a 156 bodyshell, I have had to take creative liberties when creating certain liveries, to better match the bodyshell (For example, The London Midland livery is rather different, and I manually painted the fronts on most liveries to better match the 153!) so they may not be perfect - Still though, I hope you like them!

Planned Additions
These could not be implemented straight away, But will likely be added as time goes on.

Abellio GreaterAnglia - Unlocks 2012

The special wrap variant of the ATW HOW livery that only lasted a very small period of time in 2009 before being reverted - Unlocks 2009 (I need refs for this if anyone has any!)

153399 (Aka the 150/2 pretending to be a 153 and a FGW local lines liveried 153 combined) - Need to figure out how to combine the 150 files into this pack - If anyone could be of any assistance, let me know!)

ScotRail - Unlocks 2021 (Will require me commissioning a custom redo of the side art as I'm unable to find any usable refs)

Additional Credits

I certainly can't take credit for *All* liveries in this pack, as a few are minor edits of some of the liveries CW and HexAyed already did, to fill gaps in the livery selection - So thank you to them! Additionally, DevonHalstonDreadle has let me use his 150 reskin to base 399 on, so thanks to him.

And thanks to you!
Thank you for reading, and I hope you enjoy the pack! Again, this has essentially been my entire months worth of effort, so I hope I've done the liveries justice - Again, refs were very limited in certain cases, so, it was a huge pain. Enjoy!
