LT. Pug: "These cat luck charms are beckoning the Great Cat Invasion of December 2022!!"

Don't worry, this isn't about braindead conspiracies about the world being overtaken by cats (while degrading and enslaving dogs in the process). This is more wholesome. It's about lucky cats.

Note: Help me catch misinformation, incorrect grammar and misspellings. Thanks in advance. But seriously, in this old cartoon series (which I recommend that ya watch), this dog has issues.

Body Language And Bibs


The positions of the paws, what accessories kitty has, and whatnot have symbolic meanings.

Bib and Bell - Protections, wealth and material abundance.

Both Paws Are Raise - This brings forth protections on the business, house, temple, etc.

Coin(s) - Coins represent wealth and other good things in life.

Drum - The musical instrument symbolizes a business that's overflowing with luck, mainly a business that's getting a ton of customers.

Gem/Marble - This represents wisdom. It can also used as a money magnet.

Gourd - This fruit is mainly symbolizes longevity and all things growing.

Koi/Carp - The fish(es) represents good wealth and abundance.

Magic Mallet - This rattle replenishes the dough.

Raised Left Paw - Invites people to come inside the business, house, temple, etc.

Red Scarf - Drawing attention.

Luck Boosts:

The higher the paw(s) that are raised, the more of a luck impact the receiver will get.

Many of these waving kitties have kanji letters to explain their various meanings.

The Lucky Cat's owner is the guy that unwraps its' collar bell. Doing this will get the cat to shower forth luck on him/her.
The Tri-Color


This is the head honcho, one of the most famous of all the Beckoning Cats. It's based on the Japanese Bob-Tail cat. It's due to it's "Jack Of All Trades" nature (representing all of the Lucky Cats' natures and jobs.), like bringing in the good luck, wealth, and prosperity.
Black Cat

  • Brings traffic safety.

Greenie is one of the newest Maneki-Neko members.

The Orange Cat is a traveler's best bud (Besides guide dogs for handicap people), their jobs is to ensure safe traveling.
Pink Cat


Pinky is one of the newest version of the Lucky Cats, he deals with getting couples lucky in love and romance.
