G2 Contender [CW 2.0]

Thompson/Center Arms' Contender is a single-shot, break-action handgun designed to bring the power and accuracy of a hunting rifle to pistol form. Introduced in 1967 (and Generation 2 35 years later), it has been relied on by hunters and target shooters for its accuracy and long range performance. This release is chambered for .30 WCF (.30-30 Winchester) and sports my new animations on Spy's Customizable Weaponry 2.0 base, with an additional GDCW ammo type.

Yes, I know someone else already made a CW version of this gun. That one uses the CS:S animations, which had reloading as part of its shoot sequence, so it's snappy as a result. The new anims are also more realistic in terms of the gun's operation - you have to pull the trigger guard to open the action ...although the cartridges don't automatically eject in real life, but that was an aesthetic choice. :P

Controls:

These correspond to the default key bindings.

• Left click - fire
  
• Right click - aim
  
• C - open/close customization menu
  
• E + R - toggle firing mode/safety
  
• E + left click - throw grenade

CVars:

These are console commands used to configure certain features of CW 2.0.

• cw_blur_reload 0/1 - blur background when reloading
  
• cw_blur_customize 0/1 - blur background when customization menu is open
  
• cw_crosshair 0/1 - enable CW2 crosshair
  
• cw_customhud 0/1 - enable CW2 hud
  
• cw_customhud_ammo 0/1 - enable CW2 ammo hud
