Hello! I was wondering if you ever had plans to making this mod open source, I am a new modder and I have always been really interested how you made the hour glass function! Or the pacifier.

When I have a baby born I will place the pacifier in it's inventory and it will show the imprint level matching the baby maturation, which is expected. What's weird is that if I also do manual imprinting (i.e. cuddling the baby), its stats will end higher than if I just let the baby mature alone with the pacifier. I did this using the Perfect Egg mod, so I know the babies should all mature the exact same. Can you think of why this would be? By the way, I LOVE your mods. I use more than just this one, so thank you!

I run a private dedicated server, and it seems every time we restart the babies we've stopped age on grow up. Is there a way to prevent that?

Let me explain why I downloaded this mod.

So I have a couple of trikes leashed, and didn't realize one was male. I come back with a giga after a meat run, walked past the leash, and found four dead adult-juvie trikes mine had birthed, and four live babies.

Didn't feel right to let the little ones grow up. I was taking down a flyer perch mod which sadly doesn't work anymore, so plenty of room.

hello, is there any way to disable the imprinting effect on the pacifier and only use the "pick up" function? I was having troubles with babies falling through floors and not making it up ramps, etc and this mod was the only one I found with baby carrying. I really want to tackle the imprinting myself but would love to be able to carry the babies. Cheers~

@Maeggan Passe this is strange, but i don't want to rule out that ark mechanics have changed and so this mod... i need to test it.

Does this still work? I hadn't played for a while, and logged in to my Single Player game to find all my babies had grown up. When I'd last quit, they were set not to age, and they all still have the pacifiers in their inventory.

@Grebog It's probably just a mod conflict, then. I wouldn't know with what mod though since none of the mods I use feature tamed creature buffs...

@Grebog Thanks! Also, is there a cooldown for the dinos remaining in place after receiving the rings? I took the rings out of their inventories when I was finished and realized that they refused to follow me around... So I had to kill them.

@LydiaJoystickDeetz the wedding ring does only stop the dinos from wandering around but the mating cooldown will not be resetted

@Ṻńīčøṝñ Ŵḯƶåřḍ the hour glass is only for setting the dinos age. for stopping growth use the pacifuer

Question. Does the wedding ring force mating again as soon as a round of mating is over? Or do we have to wait for the mating bar to go down?

How is hourglass different from Stop Baby Growth feature? Does the hourglass or Stop Baby Growth feature ever time out (baby will continue to grow regardless after a certain time)? And also can I claim the baby before stopping their growth? Thanks for the help

you can not get the imprinting buff for some reason are you able to update the mod?

Yes, I investigated it and for some reason the cooldown wasn't displaying properly. I restarted the server and it showed that the female was still on cooldown. Thanks for the reply

I'm having some difficulty with the wedding rings. They worked one time and I got a fertilised egg, but ever since then, the dinosaurs won't mate. They have the wedding effect and are close to each other, but no mating is happening. Could you offer advice?

Hey, after the most recent update for the Gachas, when you remove the Wedding Ring effect via radial menu, the dinos no longer get disable Wandering as they used to.
The immobilization buff goes away, but the dinos remain on wander meaning they just walk away which is more annoying than how it used to work. :P

@ECU_Anelrush the pacifier is used in the baby's inventory. as long as the pacifier stays in the dino's inventory, the imprinting run automatically until the dino is grown to adult. then you can remove the pacifier, clean it up (joke) and put it in another baby's inventory. Do not remove the pacifier until the the baby is grown up. otherwise the imprinting will not work.

Been having some issue with the pacifier, seem to only auto imprint the first time and doesn't do any further imprinting.

Did you ever look into making a single-use version of the imprint pacifier?

we are having an issue on our server where the pacifier isnt imprinting on baby dinos, we arnt using anything that has to do with babys so nothing should be conflicting

Is it possible to make the Hourglass prevent to lower the Dino Age? Because you can tame a Creature, lower it's Age, release it and take it back. After all it has an Imprint without mating.

Yes! Auto-imprinting scales with age. Example: baby dino has 5% maturation, imprinting is 5%.

The auto imprint still works if the server got baby grow x5 for example ?

@Riffy and @Cstalker I belive the classic flyers mod messes with there id's so the ring doesnt recognize the flyers.

Yeah they don't seem to enter mate when you use the rings and just leave them standing around
