This doesn't work in 2025 DE. The mod is enabled but there's no NPC that appears for those of us who don't have access to script extender (MacOS).

Hello? Could you please fix the issue where the Five-Star Diner talent may become partially ineffective due to other mods?
For example, BonusUniques[DE] causes the Five-Star Diner talent to be ineffective. The author of BonusUniques[DE] stated that any mod that adds items to both GM Mode and Story Mode simultaneously will cause this issue.
So, could you please fix this issue? If fixing it is too difficult, would it be possible to solve this problem by creating a new talent with the same effect as Five-Star Diner?

Bug: When using controller UI, the fade read book in inventory feature doesn't work. book icons also have a the top left of their icon faded when trying to sell them.

Also make sure your script extender is updated - v38 is from several years ago. Get the latets DXGI.dll from the repository, and make sure you don't have a ScriptExtenderUpdaterConfig.json in your bin folder that's making it updating to an old version. Your game being old can also cause the updater to get an older version, since SE versions are built against specific game versions.

@Scrambled Eggs You only get a "working story error" with LeaderLib if your game is outdated, since LeaderLib uses newer scripting functions they added in the gift bag updates. The game version should be v3.6.117.3735 (you can see this in the main menu).

This appears to be the mod that gives me the "unable to make working story" error and adds the four NPCs to my party when paired with "Evolved Party Size". I'm new to this game so maybe its due to an update?

Edit: When I tried to delete this mod. It reverted it back to v.38 of the script extender. Now it seems to not give the error when starting up. Will need to investigate more if it is now working properly.

Note: Sorry if this isnt completely clear. I am tired.

Hmm, for some reason, delay tooltips doesnt do anything, as well as the Hide all statuses. Everything else I tried works. Oh well.

mod appears in the mod list. i have the script extender. its at the top of the load order. but there is no mod settings menu, no traders. mod appears to not work at all.

It defaults to saying v56 is installed after downloading the updater, since that was the version set in the updater at the time. You need to run the game so it updates, and then refresh the mod manager. Or just ignore the warning, since that's all it is. You can see the script extender version in the main menu in-game.

People have had issues with the script extender updater not downloading the latest version (it's usually firewall / router issues). Check the script extender's issues tab on github:

Weird, it definitely told me it had v56 installed and gave me the exclamation mark on the mod that required v57 or higher. Hopefully it was just me. Thanks for the fast reply!

@Airi The mod manager downloads/unzips the updater from the script extender's github releases. When you run the game, the updater then downloads the latest extender release (which it downloads via Amazon Web Services I believe).

Not sure where the best place to post this is, but currently it seems that the latest version of the Osiris Extender is v59; however, installing it through the Divinity Mod Manager provides v56 :c

When I use the skip tutorial function and spawn as the Fort Joy beach, Sir Lora disapear. If I start a new game without skipping tutorial, Sir Lora will be there waiting for me at Fort Joy beach. Is this a conflict with another mod? Please help me if there is anyway to fix this, thank you.

@nomar They have the same end result, except in LeaderLib they use the extender (Let There Be Tooltips overrides files, whereas the option in LeaderLib just enables the tooltip for items using scripting). So if you use those options in LeaderLib, you can remove those mods from your load order.

@the Loofy Glad I'm not the only one. I thought my game got bugged somehow when I restarted and noticed everyone getting frozen and blinded through everything. Gonna be going back to the last version until this one gets fixed

I just tested this mod with not a single other mod running, and statuses were no longer blocked by armor.

As of today, no statuses are blocked by any armors. While I cant 100% confirm this mod is solely responsible, it is the *only* mod that was updated today. I will do more testing tomorrow.

Hi, we encountered a bug where we can play 5-men squad, but when adding the 6 player with party size set to more than 6, and having extra playable characters (we had 4 original character and 3 presets companions), the 6th player couldn't join the game. Is that a bug or is it something about the setting

@mebic Yeah use LaughingLeader's mod manager. It'll help detect new mods and let you move them over into your mods folder.

@mebic - can you be more specific? Are you using the mod manager? (if not, use the link above) I've found that this mod exists and works. I play with between 80 and 150 mods/runthrough. USUALLY, if one of LLs mods won't load, I've got issues. I'd make a new profile. Load this first and go from there. I have had mods take a while to download into the mod manager, maybe unsubscribe, resubscribe and give it a few min.

@MoukOs I'm not seeing that issue with the permanent spirit vision option enabled or disabled, even with the spirit vision gift bag / workshop mod enabled, so I'll need a copy of your save if possible (google drive, dropbox, etc).

Not exactly sure why, but I do have the same issue as previously mentioned for Spirit vision not applying any status. After I enabled leaderlib in my save, I can't get spirit vision to work again (honestly wouldn't care if it didn't blocked the story)

Have v57extender 1.17.30 LLib and a fair amount of mods ( https://pastebin.com/gjAYX715 )
Tried removing the mod, adding it again, enabling the gift bag, removing all forms of spirit vision mods. It somehow stayed that way.

Something I didn't tried is "disabling leaderlib, play a few hours, try again"

Is there some form of caching that I can bust form the divinity engine ?

Make sure "Enable Trader" is enabled under the LeaderLib->Misc section too, in the Mod Settings menu. If that's unchecked then it hides the trader. There's also a checkbox for auto-adding mod menu books and the "Open Mod Menu" skill (under the "Automatically Add" section). These options are all enabled by default.

Did you perhaps get a "working story error"? What you're describing sounds like you did, which would make osiris story scripts stop working (leaderlib trader, gaining the book and training dummy skills), while lua extender scripts would still work (tooltips, mod settings menu).

Make sure you have all the dependencies for mods in your load order, such as OdinCore if you have Odinblade mods, Helaene Core for Helaene's mods, etc.

I'm not sure if I'm just dumb or something, but I can't get the naming wand or Leader Lib trader/book to show up in game. I have the mod settings and tool tips but no Lotar, book, or wand.

I'm not sure about the save/load situation, since I haven't been able to replicate that myself. Dye Already applies a polymorph status for 0 turns to reset your equipment colors, but this is only when changing dyes I believe (so it doesn't appear to do that when loading a save).

It may be possible that a polymorph status is attempted when loading, Book of Origins then removes the racial skill, but then that status was never applied/removed (since the game was loading), so Book of Origins never restores the skill.

@DezZzO Edit: Looks like this is a bug with Book of Origins actually. I tried it now with only the Book of Origins mod - I gave TRP Flesh Sacrifice, then applied the Chicken Form status.

If the status applies, Flesh Sacrifice disappears, and then when the status is removed, you can see that Flame Breath shows up, and is quickly changed to Flesh Sacrifice:

I took a look at Book of Origin's scripts, and it has logic to remove/apply the skills you've chosen when polymorph statuses are attempted/removed. The issue in Chicken Form's case is if it's blocked, it's never "removed", so the mod doesn't handle that correctly when restoring the skill.

After manually enabling and disabling every mod I had it turns out it's the "Dye Already" mod that messes up with Book of Origins.

After a quick test on a new save file it doesn't seem to be easily replicated, so here's a google drive folder with a save file and mod files archives too (just in case you might need them)

Usually it starts happening with 100% consistency around the time you get to the Fort Joy and I'm really not sure what is the culprit, LeaderLib was one of the latest mods I got so I assumed it might be a conflict case.
