Yep, avoids traps. Nope, doesn't avoid Deathfog. Arx, up the hill, I'm setting up this clever ambush, teleport the barrels, fight starts, bam, the clever runt runs straight into the servants of the Acorn and kicks it.

My main issue with Sir Lora is he sticks near my character as they are knee-deep in AoE chaos, and while he tries to run away he snaps back before his armor has reset and he will eventually die because he's dumb.
Avoiding traps is nice, but can you also make him avoid and stay out of fire/etc?

Let him be an actual companion like I assumed he would be.. :(

Playing my undead playthrough and decided to try and keep Sir Lora alive. Became apparent pretty quick that being immune to deathfog doesnt matter for me if Lora decides to just run right into it and instantly die, made for some really frustrating fights with Isbeil xD

Brilliant. Larian designed this NPC so ridiculously terrible. An uncontrollable NPC that has a pittance of health and NO physical armor, when the game has so many environmental hazards? Total joke. Last playthrough he died before I even escaped Fort Joy because for some reason he's targettable by NPC's in combat so if they cant see you but can see him they will target him with lightning spell to have it jump to you.

Gotta say, the Squirrel Knight is a real MVP. A pal and I just beat a run on tactician, with his help. The Academy fight after Hammer, with the giant titan as well as the Gods, they for some reason wished to vanquish the mighty Sir Lora, and his tenacity and Courage under fire saved us from certain doom.

@Kuronan32 The achievements mod was updated almost immediately for definitive edition. You may be referring to the old version.

To everyone saying 'there's a mod to re-enable achievements' It hasn't worked for months. I tested it with some friends, trust me, I'm missing quite a few achievements I should most definitely have.

I very much doubt that Larian is going to allow achievments with mods, since they've been blocked since the classic release, but there's already a patch for that on the Nexus for those interested.

Yes that is true, but it's just short sighted how annoying, and useless this thing is, so if its possible to spruce him up, that would be usefull, perhaps as a summon, he could grant certain spell?

anyway, lets see what happens.

They're probably limited in how useful they can make Sir Lora since, as a pre-order bonus, it'd be kind of unfair to make him be a significant benefit or chunk of story.

well, hopefully, with a summon, he can be more useful, that is afterall the point of mods, to expend on the base game. I do agree the base DLC is poorly thought out and next to useless, but hopefuklly something good will come out of it. and make him, more vital to keep this critter alive.

I hope so, if the cat can become useful if you escape with him from the fort, maybe Sir Lora could be more useful if you complete his quest? But I gues we have to wait and see.
