@Dizzy Ioeuy just because it's on Incoming doesn't mean days. It's now the 5th and still 69 out of 732 original 1.3 Continued mods are left, that's even before we get to the 400 that's been requested since 1.4 was announced.

thank you for all that you did for this community. can anyone pick up where the author left off? because most of these mods are absolutely essential (and honestly should have been in the base game).

Hi man, just read you won't update your mods anymore.
I'd like to thank you for providing us with these mods for so long. I use several of your creations, and Configurable Maps was definitely one of the most essential mods for RimWorld.
Wish you all the best for the future, maybe you return should there ever be a RimWorld 2.

After 5 years of modding for this game I am stepping aside. Life has me busy and I will not have time to update my mods. If anyone picks this up let me know and I'll post a message in the description pointing people to the 1.4 version.

Another mod is probably changing how the world is generated and preventing this mod from running.

The option for selecting stone types doesnt work? Instead of only having a max stone type of 1 per map itll give me 2 or even 3 which is quite annoying. If I choose min 1 max 2 it still gives me 3 sometimes. How do I fix this?

I tested the mod along with Geological Landforms. They are compatible, meaning that they will not conflict with each other, but the specific geological landforms are fixed and will not influenced by the mountain amount set in this mod. Calderas, craters, rifts and so on will maintain the same amount of mountain. Everything else works fine.
Just an heads up for those like me who want to use both mods.

Hey there,

It's probably a mod conflict of some sort, but I recently tried to start a game with this mod, and when I loaded into my chosen spot (Temperate Forest), there was zero vegetation with plant density at default (100%). If you think it's worth a look let me know.

This mod does require some time to learn. You'll want to edit the biome your map is in. You can adjust densities of animals and plants.

I was able to bypass the issue by using dev mode to teleport the caravan to the quest tile once, but that hasn't worked. The offending part of the log seems to be:

This mod is the source of a problem generating map encounters such as toxic spewer. The caravan cannot approach as needed thus breaking saves without removing the mod.

I got the same error as Zasso.
Ths is new for the 1.3 version, haven´t had this before as far as I can remember.

So what exactly is incompatible with Alpha Biomes? I never really read the description I guess, and have always had alpha biomes, so that is why I am asking

I had the same problem but it was only on temperate biomes. I never could figure out what mod was causing the bad interaction but disabling this one avoids the problem.

so just stared a new game and very glad I have map re-roll installed as the water lvl adjust is making maps spawn in with little to no vegetation, ruins, or much of anything. They just show up as a giant dirt field with some scattered mountains(using a flat tile).
