Create a patch so that it works in 3.14 for which you want to try it, do not test it.

Hey man, I see your mods are outdated for some time now, and I'm currently doing rework of the human legacy and new human portraits. I would like to ask you if I could use some of your graphics, but I think you are inactive for some time now. I will do so anyways, in case you comeback or see this comment and don't wish me to use them, please let me know and I will cut them out. But for the time being they will be great addition to what I already have made.



To anyone seeing this, watch out for my new mod. Soon gonna release the first version. Already have reworked both human races and have 55 new faces for each genders in both groups, which in total gives 220 new faces!!!

I dont know why but when I install this mod all the portraits go away, I adjust the load order and can't seem to get it working.

When I make a new empire, I notice that the first 2 portraits does not match at all, and none of the 113 are loading, I have maybe 15 which I assume is the default selections.

I understand if there is not a way to implement this, but I was wondering if there were any plans to make the cyborg portraits appear only as your empire progresses through the cybernetic ascension path? Kind of like how the new human portraits added with machine age do so? I tend to the use the version of this mod without the cyborg portraits because it got annoying when a cyborg would appear in a spiritualist, non-Cybernetic Creed empire I used to play.

Man really thanks for keeping this mod updated from so long, you always nailed it while keeping the portraits with stellaris flavor, without big tits, skimpy outfit or anime hairs. It's even better than the new horrible humans we have.

Just one question, i really want to use it for an human themed game with separate ethnicities for creating our countries in space, and "undiverse humanities" have just switched to the bland new humans and there is nothing for legacy portraits left.

You really nailed ethnicities, could you make an undiverse humanities with your mod? I apologise for asking if this bother you! I really have no racism focus lol

@UncleSam Seems it hadn't been uploaded correctly and it caused an issue where I couldn't upload the mod again. It's fixed now. Hair should be back on heads across the galaxy.

For everyone see below how to fix the hair issue.
User High ground posted this in the regular new human portraits mod so all credits go to him. I just updated the workshop number to this mod.

THE DIY FIX:

Default Steam Workshop file path of the portrait file we need to edit:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\281990\1635059883\gfx\portraits\portraits

1) Right-click on the file "07_portraits_human"

2) Edit with Notepad++ (google for download AND do not use windows' notepad!!!) or if you have windows 11 use note pad.

3)[Ctrl + F] to find all the "hair_selector" words and replace with "attachment_selector" in one go, then save.

4) Enjoy! Ps. Same fix applies to other SE mods eg. SE Humanoid, created by by MnCnN. May he/ she be at peace for making this awesome mod! <3

The Emperor's Chosen: Sadly no, you get the portraits from the start. There was a patch for the Visible Cyborgs mod but it is not updated anymore and it had some issues with having to manualy change the rulers portrait.

so just to clarify, does this mod apply the cyborg portraits automatically when you get cyborg pops? Probably seems like a low IQ question so I apologize, but just want to be sure! ^.^

Hello again. I've done some digging and I've realised what the specific issue is. The human portraits will only show the portrait of one of the two sexes when used in conjunction with the 'Children of Unit 04' Origin that comes with the Planetary Diversity mod. I've checked other portraits to ensure that it isn't the origin itself doing this, and other portraits seem to change normally between female and male portraits. Since it's an issue with another mod, I completely understand that it's more tedious to be able to fix, but I thought I'd post the repro steps in case anybody else had this issue.

Hey there! I'm having an issue with this mod where all the portraits used once in-game are of the same sex as the ruler, regardless of the actual sex of the leader in question (as in: there is a 'female' leader with a 'male' portrait). I don't have any other mods that overwrite the human portraits, so I think it's either centred here or on the interactions between this mod and other portrait mods (Sci-Fi Races, for instance). Anyone else having a similar issue to this?

I wouldn't play Stellaris without your remastered human portraits as totally dislike the graphic style of the vanilla portraits.

The way to address version support for a file that doesn't change is to edit your descriptor.mod file and change the line to read supported_version="3.*" The mod will then be valid for all versions of Stellaris until they get around to making Stellaris 1.4

@Johnnylew no they should show up as an option from the start. Semms there was something wrong with the uploaded files. If it wasn't working before It should be fixed now.
