Ever since the recent update, it seems as though the journey step for thrall taker to assign a crafter to a crafting station doesn't work anymore for crafty counters. I had to temporarily place a vanilla workstation and tag up on it and then destroy it before it would progress the journey. Also the corner artisans workbench wouldn't let me place that down anywhere. Thankfully the other artisan table works fine. If you get time, it would also be awesome to have a crafty counters version of the casters table and the tannerer's workbench. I appreciate all you have done. It must be hard to keep up with the game updates. They are not as often as they used to be though. And here I go adding more requests on top of it. LOL

I will warn you about the tabletop miniatures though. I'm talking about the grinder, fluid press, and dryer. Those things work great, and of course, those crafting stations don't take thralls. Even the vanilla ones don't. But if you are working on a journey step, it won't count using those miniatures. Journey steps do count for all other crafting stations but not the grinder, fluid press, or dryer. They work absolutely fine to grind, press, or dry. It just won't count toward your journey step for some reason. At least, that is my experience anyway.

As a user, I can say yes, they do support thralls. You don't need thralls to make them work or anything but just like the vanilla workbenches, you do need thralls to get the bonuses that some thralls provide. You can craft without a thrall though. Living settlements work fine with crafty counters. This is my most favorite mod for Conan Exiles.

I was looking for the dismantle bench because the vanilla improved is so huge... but in this mod it seem there is no improved version just the basic one am i right ?

Any chance of getting the vault as a crafty counter? Placing that thing is hell on my OCD.

You have to first unlock the artisan knowlendge and then under the same category you can unlock crafty counter knowledge. Once all the required knowledge is unlocked you can craft crafty counters with the construction hammer.

Could you please try making a few of those huge station at higher levels my Thralls keep getting stuck on those huge stations. By the way keep up the good work your awesome.

Yea, that's part of the Living Settlement or whatever system added to the Heros patch. Crafters are now real actors, and you can also equip gear on them so don't need Fashionista mod or something to dress them up anymore.

Are the thralls suppose to move on their own and perform random acts, such as sitting in chairs and feeding themselves? Because that's what my Blacksmith did and freaked me out.

Thrall feeding counter is a bit odd, as its rotation is based on the direction you're facing and where on the floor the cursor is. Won't rotate manually like other counters as I had to offset the socket to work with the floaty food circle inside the pot.

Improved blacksmith should be fixed now. Also added counters for thrall feeding and sorcery. Counters have LODs now too, so it should perform a bit better when viewing them from a distance.

I'm having trouble getting improved blacksmith to work again. It works when playing in editor window, but refuses to place in the actual game. I've tried replacing it with a duplicate of the normal blacksmith and just changing the recipe category tags, but now that one won't work either. Something odd is going on with the base object blueprints and smart objects. Might take a few days to fix. Or maybe more if devkit needs a patch.

Also, after further play and getting to where I was ready to start using improved workstations, I noticed that the improved blacksmith table was still having issues with placing the object down. Even in the middle of the room it was overlapping another object just like they were all doing before you updated but the update ficed that with the other tables but still having problems with the improved blacksmith. The regular blacksmith table seems to be working fine. I can place everything else down that I have tried so far. I haven't tried the improved tannery or improved furnace yet.

Not sure if a standalone tabletop pot would work since the thrall idle spots are set in the object. Thralls may get stuck if someone set the pot no the floor or something. Should work if I merge a small pot into a new counter though like the other workstations.

But, yea, the base thrall pot is a bit large.

Everything is working so much better now. Thanks for updating the mod. My game is so much better now. If you ever get extra time, it sure would be nice to have a table top thrall pot now that they go eat from it. You have to have the huge thing in the middle of the room because they stand on all sides to eat. Before the update, I would just stick the thing somewhere on a roof or at least in a corner somewhere out of the way but now I have to build a huge hall just for the thrall pot. It would be cool if there was a table small tabletop version where maybe 3 thralls could stand in from of the table to eat. I also noticed that there are a few journey steps that will not complete when using the table top version of the grinder. But seriously, it is a relief to have this mod back in my load order working again. Thank you so much!

Got it working now. Still need to fix some of the NPC worker slots before uploading it though. A few of the workers are standing inside the counters lol.

I haven't figured it out yet either. They worked fine in the dev kit and my local saves loaded fine before I pushed the update. Hopefully I can sort it out in the next day or two.

same problem, overlapping in certain directions, sometimes stations can be placed, sometimes don't. already try to enable or possible options with LBPR in ModControlPanel but didn't work. pls fix this. Idk if you have a discord server so the we can share screenshots or mod order lists

I am having same issue and I have been recently only been playing on single player. Ever since the update, I can hardly place any of the counters. If I am lucky, I might be able to place a counter in the middle of a room but then I have no room for anything else. But that's if I am lucky. Usually I cannot place anything related to this mod. I have made no adjustments on load orders or added any mods. Everything else is placeable from the vanilla game, dlecs, and all other mods. It is only the objects from this mod that are currently useless. I love this mod so I hope that it can be fixed at some point. For now, I will have to rely on vanilla crafting stations.

I haven't figured anything out yet Marcelo, I've just been using the benches from Vanilla and LPBR until something changes. I've restarted my server multiple times to no avail...

Most counters are giving me the "overlapping terrain/object warning" and others are giving me it in certain orientations.

Trying to update now. The live-mode thralls work with the counters when played in editor. Bad news is, I can't get the dang mod to cook without throwing errors. Will hopefully sort it out tonight.

just tried this mod and even with the issue of some of the stations not being able to be placed the rest of the mod is amazing, thank you for the work you put into this one, makes for a very clean looking crafting area. definitely a go to mod

Having the same problem. Everything seems blocked by invisible items. Cant place any counters. I dont build anything without my counters. Hoping for an update as it only started after Age of Heroes landed. Thank You for your brilliant mod.

I found that once a station was removed, a new station could not be placed in the same spot. It also acted like there was an invisible station in the spot blocking movement. It could be that I had stone foundation and that was causing issues with the stations. Also, my thrall went to the Furnace but did not show as being there and later when I went to check on something the thrall was no longer there (seemed to not be in my base at all), I'll check for her again later and see if maybe she was just sleeping or on a break (now that they do those sorts of things lol)

So far it works on a new save without thralls, however placement of a few counters is broken. Can't place a blacksmith on a stone foundation, and the artisan table (non corner) has issues with walls. Plus *still* missing some crafting stations from years back.

I say that this is the mod with the most underrated-to-miracle ratio on Steam...

Placing crafting station is... SUFFERING. Crafting stations ARE a SUFFERING themselves because each of them has a different shape and it's so hard to allign with anything else. They're also... BIG...

If these stations are game-wise completely considered as their normal counterparts, I think Age Of Heroes integration shouldTM come automatically, as well as having any recipe we would have on a normal station.

Else I'm afraid it will be a great pain to update.

Next time I cook the mod, I might just rename it to improved firebowl counter since that's what it is. Although that may also confuse people looking for a non-improved version for some reason.
