and nurturers
I wanted to disallow the use of male portraits for any civ, not just the one i was using.
The gender lock in the base game thankfully does this to a T.
Gender politics only does this if you have the gynarchy civic set for every leader. Problem is:
1) its a game altering civic, which i was sort of ok with.
2) it was very restrictive. Not many Civ's could use it as it blocked the civic based on alot of ethic factors. Kinda of realistic, Sure, But that's not why I installed the mod.
The Gender politics mod should be able to achieve the same thing if i set up each AI empire.
Ill keep on eye out here tho for the war options.
Either way, You do you :)
Otherwise im gona hold off for now, the new genderlocking mechanic in the base game is more desirable to me.
As far as I can tell, this will work fine with 3.2's addition of basically having a mono-gendered faction. You can even select one of the mono-gender things at the start of the game, and then apply one of the policies, and it will function fine.
For example: If you select all female at the start, and then switch to all male scientists for example, you'll only be getting male scientists.
