@Ferocious It has been updated since long, but the game changed. I have noted the problem too, it's more random than consistant, but I have no time to debug.

it still doesn't replace or remove signals except first two tho. In earlier versions these functions worked alright and removed\replaced all of the signals, but in the latest one it only replaces or deletes first two in a row

For the people who can't seem to get it to work, it took me a while to work out as it works backwards to the way i usually place signals.

My usual way to manually place signals is signal just before junction then work back along the main track leading up to the junction, equally spacing.e.g. i use 160m as standard as that fits a standard platform, until so something like
Junction->signal---160m---->signal---160m--->signal---whatever gap left------>Next junction

The mod want to work to other way around and you start by placing the first signal after the junction. Thus you have to work

Junction<----whatever gap is left----signal<---160m----signal<---160m---signal<-Next junction.

If you use it my normal way it only places a single signal which people have mentioned is happening to them.

Figured out how to use this mod... Actually any mod for this game.

1) Subscribe to the mod on the mod settings; (This will not actually apply the mod to the game, will only tell the game that the mod exists...)
2) Apply the mod to a Save Game;
2.1) Create a game normally, without the mod;
2.2) Save the game;
2.3) Go to main-menu;
2.4) Click on the Load Game;
2.5) On the screen where you choose the save file, there is a button "Select Options";
2.6) There you can actually apply the mods loaded on step 1 to the save game, add the desired mods, click Apply;
2.7) Load the game with the mods applied;

This is very not intuitive, and not well documented anywhere... I would appreciate if this was on every mod description...

Maybe i make a mistake, but the mod works for me randomly. Sometimes their are signals created but most oft the time not. And i do not know why.

For example doubletrack. The first one i must set all signals manually and even with AutoSig active, their are no created. On the other track it worked after the 2nd or 3rd signal. Why is this so?
Their are no crossings, switches, etc on the track and i build the first sign next to a switch. I use oneway-signs

nope. I just built a single track to test the mod without crossings or switches. It builds signals just fine but can't delete anything beyond first and the one after that — it just stops on the second in line leaving the rest untouched. Same with "replace"

@Enzojz I have just tested the mod without any other mods enabled and it seems that the script doesn't delete or replace any signals except the closest one and the one next to that. i.e. if i have say 5 signals placed it will only replace\delete the first 2 of them and will have no effect for the others.

It still creates new signals just as expected though

Great mod, worth a reward.
Not sure if already asked, I didn't read all comments, would it be possible to have the signals placed with a negative distance? The idea is that I can then place a signal before the last crossing and automaticly additional signals before the crossing get added?

the mod isn't placing signals for me. I selected the AutoSig option when placing my signals but it isn't placing any new ones automatically

I can't get the auto signal function to work. I just saved and checked that the mod is enabled. I selected the signal tab in the track menu. When I hover over the track there is no option for auto sig placement. Is there a year that the function becomes available? I am in the year 1852.

Is it possible to get "evenly spaced" Signals
a. Around corners - So the 2/4 will be aligned, currently if you add signals on 2/4 parallel tracks they do not align up around corners because the inside track is shorter!
b. Have Intelligent measuring the amount of signals needed to be close to the selected Signal Spacing but also Space it so that is is evenly between start and end-point! Contact me for the math if you need.

@weedy hab die mod aboniert und es wurde runtergeladen. ich habe die mod auch aktiviert (regler ist auf grün). trotzdem wird es nicht im spiel unten angezeigt. ich klicke auf "freies spiel" erstellen, gehe dann in die einstellungen und sehe das die mod aktiviert ist. wenn das spiel beginnt dann wird die mod unten rechts nicht angezeigt.

@Enzojz I tried it with a section with 12 signals on a straight line (signals every 200m), only the first 4-5 were replaced. I had to do it 3 times.

When replacing signals (single or double tracks), the signals are in reverse position since the last update.
Also some signals are replaced, some are not.

I think I had the mod placed wrongly in the order of mod loading in my save. I put it among the last to be loaded and now it works.

If you don't have time right now to fix the issue with Replace/Backward, you should probably remove it from the menu so that the user cannot select it.
