Keep up the good work!
TpF2 has had a long standing issue where it has a hard limit on how many sound effects it can load. If you run a lot of mods you eventually hit this limit and end up with some silent trains running.
AltGr + A does an ingame audio reload, you can try that and maybe the train you're looking at will get it's sounds back... Otherwise the developers are apparently addressing this issue in the next update, so we'll see...
I wouldn't say your 43 mod was 'hated', it was very widely used. I used it. And while cw315 tried to improve it, it was showing it's age. I think everyone was in agreement that TpF2 really needed a new and much more detailed model.
And with the many liveries it carried in mind I also focused on making it easy to repaint from the start, so that was a bonus. It was also very handy that Lenin started revealing his Mk3s at around the same time I started on this, so after a quick chat with him all I had to do was make the loco...
Would you consider doing the Aussie cousin, the XPT by any slim chance?
Many thanks for clearing that up.
Also with the early headlights, I went for this look...

It will work without Lenin's Mk3s, it is a standalone loco. But it is meant to run with them...
