I m in acord with Tex player. There are too much mission on workshop where some tasks get too much enemies VS sniper player or squad group (all know that is difficul manage IA). Those missions dont have balanced forces on battle field and the players waste time !

way too many enemies. you say that they are rebels but in this small piece of map they have as many soldiers as the chinese army has in all of china. seriously stop makin every scenario have so many enemies. this is arma not call of duty !!!

Arma AI is a pain in the a** for sure, and if I remember correctly they're at 20% skill and mainly use SMGs for reduced damage. Try it in coop if it's too hard, as the difficulty doesn't change to player count.

Just tried this mission again after a few years. It's really well designed and fun but also quite hard - and not just with the beginning. I had to load a save for dozens of times, and at the end, with a bad weather and a lot of vegetation making the visibility very low, the AI seemed to always spot me at ~100m distance, even when crawling, so it seemed to be almost impossible to stealth. So I think the AI difficulty could be a bit lower. Generally, cranking up the the Arma3 AI difficulty will just make the enemies superhuman killer robots with an x-ray vision, which is kind of unrealistic and makes them more frustrating than challenging.

Try to sneak past the patrolling guards, I suggest immediately once you'e gotten out of the house, going outside the village walls, as there isn't any guards on the outside. After that search for a first aid kit, a shotgun, and a map that can be found in some of the houses in the village. It can also help to study the patrol patterns of the guards, to know which spots and when are safe. But it indeed is challenging mission, especially the first part.

A fun and challenging mission. I was expecting something totally different. I liked that the powerful guns had very little ammo while the weaker guns had more ammo available.

Great mission, had a lot of fun with it. Somewhat challenging - especially the beginning - but also very immersive. There are plenty of gunfights and enemies just keep harassing you.

Yeah i was playing solo. But i noticed that you run accelerated time. This is a problem as it was easy to run this mission solo for couple of hours and end up late evening in complete dark without NV. Also it would be good to have a medikit somewhere not just first aid kits.

I changed it to a average 60 - 120 min. The length really depends on the play style, pace and priorities. The mission is quite hardcore, especially if you're alone.

25-45 minutes gameplay?!? Dude i played this mission for half a day? It is not very well balanced. Weapons are hard to find and patrols are everywhere. + Manhunt functionality present.

No mods running. And not using a dedicated server.

I think the code assumes that p4 and p3 will always exist, but they don't if you leave those slots empty.

Aha! So I had guessed the issue correctly in my first message.

I make missions for a group of casual players, who hate the hassle/bugs of mods. So I am one of the few players that plays without them (even without CBA!).

I suppose I'll just copy+paste that Respawntickets.hpp and manually enter the ticket numbers. Or play with infinite respawns.

Just tested after your comment, and doesn't pop up in vanilla.

It's in the description.ext, remove the following:

class Params

Removing this will remove respawn parameters though.
The mission is not designed nor tested on dedicated session, so be mindful.

One of the rare nice and polished missions for arma. Great work.
There is however a script error if you leave any of the player slots empty in multiplayer.
