or im stupid and doesnt know how things work
Great work BTW!
Should be fixed now.
Those animations that were originally included for this mod have been removed! They really didn't add much other than create confusion...
Also made the fingers slightly less rubberhose-like.
The issue is the animations are trying to load in Nick's Aim Layers, but they can't find them as Bill's are used instead. Typically, Anim-replace mods would include both Survivors' group of animations as one Survivor may not have everything for the other. (For example, Zoey's missing 2 reload loop shotgun/pump_shotgun anims while everyone else has them.)
The animations when looking left or right doesn't play properly due to your animations on your model, is there a way to remove them so the two works nice ?
They wouldn't be included in their Vanilla+ mods like Nick's as they don't have their skeletons adjusted.
At that point, it's not Nick. Nick has longer fingertips. That's who he is.
I would not recommend having this mod implemented in The Last Stand due to the fingertip bones being moved.
Let's say that it was added in the main game. Because of the skeleton's fingertips being adjusted, every single one of Nick's animations would have to be remade just to correct & support the fingertips' new location. This mod doesn't need to do that with every animation because it uses the Size Proportion Trick. (Something TLS team wouldn't & shouldn't use on base game models.)
Anyway, almost every single Nick mod out there would have their fingertips broken because other mods that use the proportion trick which relies on the original Nick's skeleton. If that skeleton is changed from the base game, everything breaks.
????????? theres no way the community is this dumb
*loos at screenshot 2*
that's the whole point in fixing bugs LMFAO
also it shouldn't cause any problems since you already adjusted Nick's sleeves right?
The name was changed to Vanilla+ to make it short and sweet for users to understand.
Good call with the guitar.
Nick World Model holding weapon and clipping Fixes
or something like that
- Nick world model clipping Fixes
- Nick world model weapon clipping Fixes + sleeves
and for the 7th shot I see Nick's sleeve clipping into the pistols magazines is that also fixable?
please at least try to fix those
Those both modify Nick's anim_gambler files. I'm unsure if the conflict would affect local play, but better safe than sorry.
As for this mod - I've renamed it to Vanilla+ to make it easier to differentiate from the other mods - it shouldn't matter which animation you sub to because the model itself has animations inside it to go with the adjusted fingertip bones.
I was wondering something
I've got this reskin for Nick
https://test-steamproxy.haloskins.io/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=304057189
And I've also got this because I'm not too keen on the weird line across his hands
https://test-steamproxy.haloskins.io/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=490036376
I'm currently subbed to both of your Tweaked Animations, and this one conflicts with the link above, and so far, no problems, if I play with some other people locally, will this mess with the animations or will it be just on my end?
Thanks for this btw
You can also have both active - they won't conflict.
The only thing to improve would be Louis & Francis' fingers. Similar to Nick's - although not nearly as bad as Nick's was - their fingers don't look that great when using certain animations like the SMG.
Have 4 Nice W33k3nd
Originally, the wrinkle texture wasn't included for the puked head material, which means he would lose the facial detail whenever he was puked on. I've added the missing line of code for the material, which is why there's a confliction.
tl;dr
Ignore the conflict.

they both edit the same file so no compatibility when using both. It would be cool have those facial improvements :)
He wasn't lying to you, he has no fucking idea what bone, he forgot.
Fucking remember that.
anyway Good job
