It can be used in any savegame. If you use these textures and turn off the mod later, the textures will be replaced by green grass.
The rotation is calculated this way by the game. Unfortunately I can't change anything about it in the mod.
I hope this isn't to much work...
Thanks !
This mod only contains textures. These are only there if you paint them on. If you have tropical trees on your map, another mod is responsible for that. Possibly the mod "Open Flora".
In this mod I used or changed the trees that the game already has.
Other, new trees I have not planned for the time being.
The flowers are not from my mod.
They come from this mod: https://test-steamproxy.haloskins.io/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1951221640
With this mod, the lodDistance is set very high ... maybe that's why. The "plants" from my mod usually fade out after a few hundred meters. This shouldn't cause any problems.
Greetings, Ingo
Your "problem" (lamme, dwright and james) lies in your graphics settings. You have to set gras to medium or more to see the actual vegetation and in my experience it's not eating up too much performance!
Hope this helps!
You are absolutely right and I have done what you said and it does indeed show correctly. I had subscribed to this again. Such a simple thing overlooked. My apologies and sorry for the late reply.
--
Thanks for that explanation... If you set the graphics settings for the ground too low, only the 2D textures are displayed. In this case, this mod is of course useless.
Hope this helps!

Hi Guys,
Thank you for your nice comments ...
If someone uses more than 254 ground textures in a savegame, an error message appears: Assertion `detailTextures.size () <255 'failed.
If you do not want to unsubscribe from the whole mod, you can also remove individual, unused textures by deleting the associated .lua files. These can be found in the respective mod under: res \ config \ terrain_material \ shared
Greetings, Ingo
All other grass mods just went out the window - I dont need them any more.
Thank you so so much Ingo - another absolutely wonderfull mod!!!
Just tested again ... with no problems.
The lower line with the [RESOURCE ERROR] indicates some other mod.
