It goes this
Edo themed expansion, 1.4
Legacy version, 1.3.
I will update this mod next very soon.
"Depends on T's Samurai Faction version >=0.0.0, version 5.0 is loaded."
Otherwise it seems fine. I think the mod manager just doesn't like when the version number is two digits instead of three.
I appreciate that, I made the mod since people complained they DIDN'T like my variants; Give me some time and I can cook up a version that disables T'S for you,
Just let me know if you want only the weapons disabled, or all shared items.
You can run both mods without a redundancy patch, this is just optional for people who don't want two versions of the same item in game.
It will probably work with the latest version of T's, I haven't tested it but I cant imagine any update broke the patches.
If I remember correctly, you essentially treat patches like addition and subtraction, since his patch adds the cherry trees, then what you need to do to disable them is inverse all his patches and subtract them, undoing T's patch.

Do you think, while you're at it, that you could include in this Compatibility Patch support, and tag distribution for, the third and final Samurai Faction Mod, run by the man behind the Mafia Faction Mod?
That being said, most items are already distributed among T's faction, it'd be quicker to list the items of mine that are not added to T's faction. The kabuto and its variants and Do armor are the only ones exclusive to my faction.
Also all patches can now be toggled
To view the toggle patches options, go into mod settings, Vanilla Framework Expanded, and click next page until you find the "Toggable patches section"
my reasoning for the combat buff was because it takes the same slot as the Tabard, which provides armor. my cloak however does not provide armor, I felt as it was there was no reason, other then role play, to choose the Straw cloak, so I added the buffs to compensate.
I can also include a rename patch, I think something like "rough Kimono" would work, since I had my faction themed after a more rough country samurai.
I probably won't patch out my Kabuto, because T's helmets cover the jaw layer, preventing items like the menpo and faceguard from being worn.
What do you guys think about the "Do" armor and my strawcloak, "Do" is similar to his base armor and of course T added his own version of a straw cloak.
It should be considered that our strawcloaks are functionally different, mine was designed as a combat buffing apparel and his is for raising cold tolerance level while reducing combat abilities.
Perhaps instead of removing them, simply renaming one of the kimono to another type similar clothing could work? Komon for kimono and stuff like that.
1. Drive out the reundant Clothing as well: there are two Kimonoes in the game, for instance.
2. Cross-reference the Tags for each item into each other's item. That way, both the Edo Clan Factions AND the Samurai Factions can get each other's clothes and items. The Sohei Wrap and the Gi Robe, for example, are both perfect fits for Ninjas (Samurais) and Ronins (Edo)!

Got a couple of failed patch operations upon loading
Personally I'm a fan of the differences, that being said I probably won't be using this patch in my playthroughs so if the demand is high enough Ill patch my kimono out.
