@mongolteiko & @shifty4 - Thank you both for reporting this in. I haven't played TpF2 for a few days or I would have noticed this earlier. Odd that everything seemed fine when I ran the mods for screenshots.

Please let me know if you encounter any further problems.

It works now. I think I found the reason why it crashed earlier...Steam hadn't loaded the update and now it works ok. Thanks for your diligence.

yep still crashing for me as well

Will try a map with just the class 56 mods.

Afraid it's still crashing on load:

__CRASHDB_CRASH__ struct lua::LuaException: ..\..\src\Lib\lua\State.cpp:402: void __cdecl lua::State::DoBuffer(const char *,int,const class std::basic_string<char,struct std::char_traits<char>,class std::allocator<char> > &): [string "W:/Games/SteamLibrary/steamapps/workshop/cont..."]:599: <eof> expected near 'end'
Exception type: Lua exception

This error is usually caused by modding. Some game resources contain incorrect data.

Details:

K. Will try it out now. And thanks.

UPDATE - Some error with .MDL file - not sure how it got there - but have replaced it with another and changed references.

Let me know if this works correctly please.

@mongolteiko - Thanks so much for the extra info, it'll help me to troubleshoot this. My first thought was perhaps Celmi had updated his original and now something wasn't working with mine.

I'll load the first pack and the first/second packs into a few of my savegames and into a new map and see what happens. It may be a simple typo somewhere.
mongolteiko 1 Nov, 2021 @ 5:09am
It crashed loading the game onto a new map. I'm adding mods as I go along [restarting after a few etc. then load some more. Had Celmi's required mod [Class 56] loaded before yours.
There are not many structural mods added [this time], mainly units and wagons/coaches etc.
shifty4 1 Nov, 2021 @ 5:07am
yeah crashed while loading the game itself
mongolteiko 1 Nov, 2021 @ 5:01am
It crashed loading the game.
Quince99  [author] 1 Nov, 2021 @ 1:56am
@mongolteiko - thanks for that info. Was the game not loading at all or was it e.g. when trying to purchase loco from depot menu?

The pack worked when doing screenshots but will have a look. I’ve had it running with about 430 other mods in my save game and see if I can duplicate the error.

Crashed my game too. 56018 is the problem.
