The game now forces a rolecheck update on every conversion. I'm hoping that'll fix it as it seems to have fixed things on my end.

Have you found a solution for the problem we had that a converted cultist doesn't know he's on the Cultist-Team until someone of that Team kills a player?

oh interesting. I'll check #3 again. I did try it with other players as well as on bots, but I better see if its a networking issue maybe that there's a delay. I'm going to maybe add an event to the endgame event log too. That's a weird thing for #1 as well, I wonder if its due to the convar affecting the weapon and not the role.

For number 3: I don't know if you tested this alone with bots or with your friends...
Because for the cult-leader, the converted players are shown to him instantly, however for the player that has been converted and becomes a cultist, this is only shown to him visually after someone on the cultist-team kills a person...

Ok, after some more testing i have found something interesting for number 1. The cooldown is adjustable, but it seems like it only takes on the value after a map change...
At least for me

@Hannes. I can replicate the convar slider issue. I'll look into that. I'm unable to replicate your #3. The conversion happens instantly on the couple games I've tested. Are there's specific roles that are causing this maybe? I've texted with regular innocent, traitor, detective; and a few custom roles like jester and spy. All of them worked in 3 separate tests.

@Hannes I'm definitely going to look into those. #1 and 3 for sure. #2 I have an idea as to why. I might need to load the preaching lines right into gmod as they're pulled from half-life originally.

3.: I do not know if this is intended, but after hitting players with the tome, they do not instantly know, that they have become a cultist (if they were a Traitor, they can still see their mates and are able to shop!). Only after someone (it doesn't matter who) on the 'cultist-team' kills someone (they have to ACTIVELY kill someone, everyone, who has been touched by the cult-leaders tome will convert into a cultist and see their mates. If the cult-leader then hits another player with the tome, someone on the cultist-team has to kill a player again for that new person to also convert and see their mates!

Ok, i looove the concept of this role, BUT:
There are still a lot of bugs (maybe bc it has just recently been created):
1.: As i was just about to adjust the cooldown of the tome, the slider is able to be moved up and down, but the cooldown still stays at 10 seconds. (Btw.: It would be very much appreciated if you could add a little something on the side of the screen that displays the cooldown, like with the Sidekick-Deagle of the Jackal or the Holy Deagle of the Priest)
2.: The preaching sometimes just doesn't work. I tried lots of things to figure out why I'm not able to hear anything but a little grunt from the player I just hit, but it seems to be completely random...

@Mangost For sure its like Jakal, but you need to melee to convert. There's also a long cooldown (customizable) between converts. I thought it would be OP, but honestly after your first convert a lot of people catch on pretty quick to kill you XD

looks like a nice chaotic role, but it seems like it kinda just takes the strong parts of jackal and infected (so it might be a little op)
