Svenicus ✠ first of all thanks but I don't even know what 'Hearts and Minds' you refer to. That's a popular phrase so I don't doubt I'm not the first one to use it as mission name and I don't know why bring it up then. I have no connection to whatever that project is/was.

used to play on a server than ran Hearts and minds on Takistan and it was really sick would love for someone to do that ive never seen it anywhere else and development on it stopped years ago but this is still cool, thank you!

btw,we are using ACE , there are only one small problem in this mission:
ACE deleted 5.56 sand mag,so when we start the mission,all the sand-camo mag are disappear.
Can still shoot but no mag model attach on the guns.:cleanseal:

It's kinda big topic to write in comment like that.
If I had to sum it all up in two words it would be "selectRandom" and "Arrays".
Like lots and lots of those. To the point that this mission for example doesn't have single OPFOR unit placed in editor. :D

If one of the explosive spawned in the floor that probably means that one of their spawn locations is too close to building. It's kinda hard to spot when you make the mission because I gave them radius in witch they can spawn based on that position so chance of them appearing in exactly right location to get stuck might be miniscule.

I will try find offending one, adjust it and update the mission to prevent that in the future.

i loved the missions, but the checkpoint mission and in other areas theres but for ex the ied spawns inside the floor of the building idk if that is a bug for anyone else? hopefully that can be fixed

Everything is fine, you didn’t understand ... It’s my own fault, just when the shelling started at the Base, I didn’t get distracted by the map, but hid people in buildings playing on a veteran without saving mistakes, they don’t say goodbye and in a hurry I missed tips and tasks)))
The mission is good. A little diversification of the skin of the group for individuality can give teamswitch.

First of all. I'm glad that You enjoyed the mission regardless. It warms creators heart when people enjoy their creations. :>

Second point. That diamond is good sign. You should be then able to crwal to the mine and get action to disarm it (If you have toolkit on you obviously). That's how BI chose to set it up so who am I to judge.

@Blackfox Still couldn't disarm the mines. I've got the kit and detector, I can detect them and physically see them but when i press 'T' I just get a huge red diamaond appear. In the end I shot them to get rid of them. :) I still enjoyed it though as I enjoy all of your missions. As a SP player, they are great. Thnaks for doing them.

Kirgiz , I don't how You managed to miss the fact that you received access to those UAVs.
Task is called "Eliminate Mortars Using UAVs" . There is both hint about terminal and dialog on screen "Quick, take this UAV terminal! Use our AP-5 UAVs!" .

With no disrespect to You buddy but I don't know how to communicate it more clearly.
But I'm obviesly going to listen to sugestion if you have any.

When I went to look for the last enemy in the mortar position, I suddenly realized by chance that I had drones with machine guns ... (it was insanely difficult to kill everyone, was treated 7 times and just crushed some with a car, played on a veteran). The sniper needs a longer range scope and a night vision scope.:steammocking:

"Hearts and Minds" is the most hilarious meme of the 20th century. I hope it dies with the last POW in Afghanistan.

I loved the Sefrou-Ramal DLC because it accidentally said the silent part out loud. Something the nimby laws of war DLC was painfully lacking. Centering the game around PMCs was a bold choice for a change. Narratively speaking: the ARMA-verse has always been chartoonish and idealistic. For a "War Sim" it plays like a Saturday morning cartoon except instead of Captain Planet, the main hero is Cpl. John smith.

You need to 'spot' them first.
Just look at them and the same action as when you spot enemies (T by default).

One question, I'm playing in SP. How do I disarm the mines? I've equiped myself with a detector and tool kit. I can see the mines, I crawl towards them but can't see how to disarm them.
