How much for mg_farm 2
I can't live without it
more feel for you from you crops (like a upgrade) (like GMOS) animals would be good.
fun map
we beat mg_farm 10/10 woooohoooo
That aside, this map is a technical marvel. 10/10!
Someone have a guide how to play mg_farm?
Accept 3 meat cube contract, deliver 3 cubes, reward delivered. As expected.
Accept 3 meat cube contract again after cooldown, deliver 3 cubes... and nothing happens.
Deliver a fourth, a fifth, a sixth, a seventh... still no reward.
My hypothesis - I looked at the entities in hammer, and it looks to be coded correctly in regards to resetting the math to 0 and counting up again. The problem, I think, is in the fact that it also disables itself at the same time as it tries to reset its value, so perhaps it's failing to change the value from 3 to 0.
I'm not even sure why the math_counter needs to be disabled in the first place as long as any entities that can trigger it - i.e. the meat_trigger triggermultiple - are disabled properly.
My suggested fix is to either remove the disabling/enabling part of the math_counter entirely, or at least give the disabling part a small delay.

I'm really excited and looking forward for the upcoming news & updates for the maps!
Btw yesterday, we managed to achieve another big milestone! We got the 100k trophy. I'll explain more about it in the upcoming post
I still highly recommend anyone playing this for the first time to go in blind, as it's more fun to figure out how things work on your own.
But if you're struggling to understand how certain parts of the map work, hopefully it helps you.
And of course I'll try to keep it accurate and updated whenever any changes are implemented into the map.

We tried a few days ago, and on our first play-trough, we almost spent 10 hours on it hahahah. After the 2nd round on it, we managed to complete it fairly quickly. We had more people joining us, so it took us like 5 hours.
If I may, we (My friend and I) would like to give you guys some sort of "Review" or Feedback on the map. All in good spirit and positive critique! Here's all the text dump, since it exceed the characters limit [pastebin.com]
TL;DR : Basically our experience in the map and our feedback. Play it already!
As for what happened, after the van stopped and it played the "what are you waiting for, get on" line, the van started to slowly drift backwards and played the line a second time. Then right as it played the line a third time, the server crashed and the thirty-second time-out did its thing in the top right.
Porkchops4lunch, Durkhaz, Merzarime, and Dysphie, you all did an stellar job bringing this concept to life. Overall a solid 10/10
p.s. about a month ago I had a dream of playing this exact map. I only realized it was like my dream when I did the exact thing in game as I did in my dream. Like, from the planting of the crops, to the way the background looked. I was actually a little disturbed that my dream was that accurate to what I was seeing. Anyhow I just thought that was scary. Amazing map
Over a year in the making, and boy does it show. The layout of this is seriously cool, and I spent an hour just figuring out how things worked (the parts that aren't explained outright, anyhow). Excellent work.
Maybe I should try learning vscript sometime. Seems incredibly useful.
