Is the code running? I highly suspect that you have scripts disabled in your world or experimental mode turned off.

I want to use this tank so badly, but the turret doesn't move for me. It just keeps looking in the direction where my tank is facing.

hey, wanted to let you know something regarding your skid steering code on github. v17 doesn't compile properly, fails at line 3 complaining about using const. the code in the AA tank works fine, though (at least it compiles properly)

Thank you for your help, Its stablized now, I couldn't change the rotor stacking without rebuilding the whole tank from scratch.
By the way, what do you think of the tank itself? have you seen its 'special' armor? :P

There are several issues with your setup:
- You have 2 rotors stacked for the azimuth. That will be unstable no matter what you do.
- To reduce this instability, change the bottom rotor to your "Stand" rotor and make the top one the "Azimuth". Then Rotor lock and share inertia tensor on the bottom one only .
- Alternatively: don't stack rotors lol

Are you using a script to control the cannon? If so, what script?

When I move my tank's turret, The cannon is bouncing a bit, making it hard for me to aim, its a tank I built, So I tried to make it: heavier, shorter, and lock the elevation rotor so it won't move, yet all of these proved ineffective and take time to stablize my cannon

The more i look at this the more i want to start doing things like this my self. I know how but the 1 part thats confusing me is the weapon stabilisation and the image converter. Any way of chatting would be nice to help

Since the recent wheel update, no longer slides sideways :)

Hi Whip. The combination of MART and the Skid Steering works like a charm! Thank you for all your SE work. I added a tank commander position in the turret and due to the totally simple set up of both your scripts I can now control driving and turret from the TC seat!
