Lore
The Hydra tank series was developed in early 2110, to replace the outdated Sleipnir series. It used state of the art hover technologies, first pioneered on tanks like the Viper and Python, but taking it much further by using a much larger and more versatile chassis.

While the former tanks excelled in hit and run tactics, the Phoenix Army believed that they would fair poorly in any prolonged engagement, especially in any urban warfare setting.

With heavier armour, superior stability, and a superior weapons compliment, the Hydra is prepared to take on any challenge. It can rush troops into the thick of battle while providing fire support with rockets and guns, or it can forego carrying capacity in favour of heavier arsenals.

In this role, it can take the AAA attachment, with 10 gatling guns to quickly shred apart enemy aircraft and even other enemy tanks of its size, cutting through them like they were made of paper. For larger targets, the rocket attachment will fire a swarm of explosive projectiles, blasting apart even the heaviest armour, and bringing larger vehicles to a halt, or bringing air ships crashing down into the battlefield below.

TURRET

The Turret can be controlled from either seat

The turret will use your mouse inputs to aim. Therefore, simply activate the camera (3 or 4) and pick your target. The turret's horizontal rotation is the same as rotating the tank.

Use "C" to fire the weapons, so that you won't also be firing the weapons on the front of the tank.

FLIGHT DYNAMICS

Friction can be increased (5) for quick braking, or to apply a parking brake. Friction should always be decreased (6) to 0 when in motion.

It is recommended you do not pilot the tank at max speed, or the machine spirits may get angry.

Scripts
Alysius - Floor Plan
MMaster - Automatic Configurable LCD
Whiplash141 - Artificial Horizon, Mouse Aimed Rotor Turret, Radar

the turret part was definitely Skyray inspired. I also play both armies in the tabletop so their influence will show itself ;)

Love the design! Reminds me of a cross between an Eldar Grav Tank and a Tau Mech(especially the blockiness and the sand colour scheme).

this is what happens when you mix Gaalsiens with a VT49 Decimator

love the style. But I feel like I have seen the design type somewhere.

Sort of reminds me of the Wraith from Halo...
