I don't think I wouldn't recommend this game, but I personally didn't enjoy it that much. However, it's extremely cheap and about 1.5h of gameplay, so if you're looking for a short game to play, and especially if you want to check out more LGBTQ+ games I think it's worth checking out.

However, this game didn't really hit for me. I was pretty uncomfortable while playing it that I was searching so deeply through someone's phone (not that the description didn't already tell us this, so it was somewhat expected), but I also found it to be very confusing. Unless you read through EVERYTHING (which there's A LOT), I don't know how you'd really get some of the clues. I pretty much looked up half of the answers, especially the latter half since I couldn't figure out what was going on and I wasn't invested enough to try that hard.
However, I thought the story was interesting. I felt like the ending was executed well (no spoilers). I appreciate what they were going for too and there are not a lot of games out there that execute on this kind of storytelling as well. However, I did feel like there was a significant amount of background missing, which would've been helpful for the puzzles as well as for being invested in the story. It's a short runtime though so I know that's hard (although there was like a phd thesis on the social media site so maybe some more writing could've been moved around lol).

Overall, didn't like the puzzles, thought the story was interesting (although I wish there were way more texts in the beginning that weren't all "happy birthday" so we could be a little more invested in the main character), and it's a cheap game so I think I'd recommend it, but don't have high expectations.
I'd recommend If Found... for a game that has a similar theme but is a lot more interesting & robust.

This game is so accurate to the pain and struggles of being transgender. It hurt so much to play this game, having gone through a lot of the same stuff. But at the same time, it represented the pain I've felt and my experience like nothing else has. The pain of being misgendered, being treated like a man instead of a woman by parents and family, and living in an area that's unsafe for transitioning. It's very emotional, and I highly recommend playing it.

i LOVED it. really recommend it to queer youth and adults alike, especially for the price
