This is possibly one of the most well-made games I have ever had the *privilege* of playing. The visual style is outstanding, the physics is satisfying, the combat is intense, and the soundtrack is gripping.
Amazing! This game is more well put together than every single AAA release in the last decade!

Very good game! Not a lot of variety in location or tank, but with time I'm sure that will change. Very well made, fun to play.

Delta V is a charming game with more than meets the eye. I have to say: it can be a little boring, especially when you're first starting out and you have yet to really discover the true depth.

This game offers a surprising amount of complexity when it comes to the space and the gameplay. Piracy, anarchy, bounty hunting, derelict scrapping, and of course--mining, all mixed in with plenty of random events and things to keep things spiced.

I really enjoy the customization in this game. It's not just collecting money to spend on the next tier of upgrades that make your ship better. All of the least expensive parts are perfectly viable, and in-fact, some of the less expensive parts can actually be better than the late-game parts depending on what it is you're aiming to build your ship around.

There are only a few things I'd like to see improved on.
One: I'd like to see the ability to run a fleet of ships, whether that be a Euro Truck Simulator style buy the ship, hire the crew, and cover their maintenance costs, and they passively earn you income with each dive, or by bringing multiple ships into dives with AI controlling the others.
Two: I'd like to see more variety in the random events and a better guarantee that you'll find opportunities to engage in non-mining related activity. I like mining, but after 20 hours of mining I'd like to do other things. Currently, it can feel a little sluggish with how long you sometimes need to wait before you come across random events.
Three: I'd of course like to see a greater variety of ships, and even unique ships that can only be acquired through special means.

With all that said, I recommend the game. It's fairly priced, it's fun, and it has a surprising depth.

This game isn't very good. The controls are bad and the story is mediocre. It's very predictable and not very convincing.

Lacks Valve Index support and VR is actually broken. Can't plot a course anywhere, making the game actually unplayable. Other than that, this game is really good in desktop. It's genuinely an amazing experience provided you can scrounge up enough friends to play it with you. (Two-three will work just fine). The only thing about it is I hope they fix VR eventually. I was looking forward to playing it in VR.

It was a great game at launch. I easily put almost 60 hours in and enjoyed the grind. Overall the experience was very predictable and repetitive... even with that in mind though, it was genuinely a really fun experience. Over time the out of touch devs have continued to release update after update making the game less friendly as a co-op party game for friends and more difficult and gamey. Less about having fun and doing it your way, more doing exactly what the game tells you or you die and lose all your stuff. Very boring and restrictive.
They've sort of redeemed themselves with the dynamic difficulty update, allowing you to customize your experience a /little/ more. It's still a shadow of it's former self, though. Plus they just rolled out the patented we-want-to-arbitrarily-control-your-experience security update which seems to sadly be more and more popular among predatory devs now. You can be banned, entirely from multiplayer including private lobbies, for glitching. Or saying f uck.

At one point I would have said this game was worth the money and more. Now? No. Sadly, you missed this game's glory days. Don't support these guys, your money is better spent elsewhere.

This game is kind of just a lonely, boring husk, which has a ton of potential. The sheer scale of this game is astonishing. The universe is incredible. The piloting is awesome and the ships handle well, the sound design is great. The graphics? Beautiful. Everything is there to make it an amazing game...
and yet it just isn't.
What could be great falls on its face. It's a disappointing, boring slog of a grindfest in which almost none of the core gameplay loops are actually fun. I really want to like this game. I spent almost 200 hours grinding, trying to enjoy this game. But I can't even bring myself to get past the main menu anymore. It's just so ungodly, unbearably, unimaginably boring.
Save yourself the trouble.

well, we finally got our adult-only lobbies only for them to be paywalled with the excuse of "beta testing" or something. the vrchat team consistently seems to believe that its community is too stupid to know when it's being swindled.
well, to be fair, half of them are. but i refuse to pay for something that was advertised as coming to the general playerbase months ago. as always development is glacial as an excuse to milk the "beta testing" of vrchat's newest features as long as possible. GFYS vrchat, sincerely GFYS.
