Implicit Alpha in PNGs upon saving from modo was weird for me, I think this is what might be happening, but I'm not sure. Hope it helps regardless

Hmm... I can't remember (haven't played it in a while). There are some changes from Portal 1, but it should be easy to pick up the differences. As far as I can remember, it is only the different "paints" that are new to Portal 2 (and the co-op part of course), but a quick Youtube view of the paint colours should bring you up to speed quick.
