I'm really happy of the version 4.
Honestly, I can't believe Garry's Mod is just as popular as it was 15 years ago. When looking at the stats for this map, the downloads are still climbing just as much as when I first released it, which is hard to believe. User-generated content is what keeps games alive!
I did go big with the map - it was a wonderful creative outlet for me, and was a fun side project for years as I continued to make updates to it. I just wanted to keep creating, thus it grew pretty large. The teleporters were the best solution I could use to help with smaller player counts without cutting any of the map's content. I loved Half Life also, so I wanted to make something that was in-universe but a competitor to Black Mesa (some of that "lore" can be found in certain places like the conference room projector).
