Harvest Bastion

Description
Experience the history of the Kryon, as the keepers of the Harvest Bastion open one of the oldest racing tracks in the galaxy to the IAGL. Race through golden forests and the interior of an ancient alien structure as you fight for dominance on this marathon track.

This is my first completed custom track. Rather than follow BallisticNG's gritty near-future aesthetic, I was inspired by stuff like 'Oban: Star Racers' to create something very colourful and alien.

I have learned a lot about track design while working on this project. If I decide to do another, I hope it will be a little tighter than this attempt, which is on the long side. It has taken me a long time to complete this track though, so I might not start another project for a little while.

I want to extend a massive thanks to everyone over at the BallisticNG discord, who have offered me tons of helpful advice in the process of making this track.

Amazing track. Only complaint I have is that it's a bit too bright in the beginning sections.

Are you working on anything new?

Is it just me or is the lighting really broken? It just looks far too bright, almost blinding. Looks intended from the screenshots though. I do love the dark section a lot.

Amazing track, at least 95% dank on the dankocity scale.

To everyone that has played and enjoyed this track: Thank you so much! I am thrilled that people have enjoyed my track, and I am super grateful for all of your kind words!

Mirror mode is supported natively by BNG, so that's half of your request done. ;) As for reverse, I may experiment with it in the future, but I'm not making a guarantee (b/c I'd rather work on new stuff).

Just an idea, but reverse and mirror versions would also be great. Up to you.

This might be my favourite track! Beautifully made. :)

Orange, what mode are you playing in? I designed this track for classic physics, and did all my testing in this mode. On the higher speed classes, you can pretty much just hold the airbrakes through the hairpin, and as long as you get the timing of the start/end right, you'll get through cleanly. Lower speed classes need much lighter use of the airbrakes.

Is there anything specific about the hairpin that you don't like?

My only issue with this track in that stupid hairpin.
