00. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ PERSONAL NOTES ~~~~~~~~~~~~
  • I made this mod so I could easily access locations in-game without always having to allocate points into huntsman and learning "Tactical Retreat" every time I needed to get across a gap between two landmasses.

  • My intent with creating this mod is to boost and maintain DOS2 players' in-game quality of life by way of improving or downright removing unnecessarily complicated or significantly inconvenient aspects of the game.

  • My immediate goal for QoL Mods is to HELP relieve any added stress/quirks/bugs a game currently has, no matter how minute, so that players can spend the valuable time they have enjoying the game.

  • My long-term goal is to make the modding community gain MORE fun and experience and additionally add MORE enjoyment out of their games. I get a kick out of making people happy, fixing stuff, and taking care of those genuinely good people out there.

01. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ MOD PURPOSE ~~~~~~~~~~~~
  1. This is a Quality of Life (QoL) Mod.

  2. This mod adds " Terry "; a Vendor, to various convenient locations in-game. He sells the skill book that teaches you the spell: "Terrain Jump."

  3. The skill is used to "JUMP" to where you need to go without worrying about skill point requirements or worrying about how to progress or what you’ll miss if you skip that area, etc.

02. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ DESCRIPTION ~~~~~~~~~~~~

Terrain Jump:
“Whether you're Human, Lizard, Dwarf, or even Undead, traversing across difficult terrain is quite a chore. Master Rangers and Hunters from all over the world poured their secrets and techniques into this book over the course of 100 years. Learning these Masters' techniques and tips of the trade will no doubt come in handy. Read this book to learn how to 'Terrain Jump' like a Master Ranger."

03. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ VERSIONS ~~~~~~~~~~~~
  1. Original (Balanced) ---> CLICK ME

    • Line-Of-Sight = Usable only to areas within Line Of Sight
    • Exceptional Range = 18m in-game. (For comparison: "Tactical Retreat" Skill only has a max range of 15m.)
    • ONE Book For All Party Members = Skill book is NOT consumed on use.
    • NO CoolDown = 0 TURNS. Virtually NO Wait Time.
    • NO Requirements = Does not require skill points invested in Huntsman/etc.
    • NO Worries = Use it to Span broken bridges, or Access difficult terrain.

This is awesome. Jumps far and wide. Thank you.

i know you're done with modding but I wish this was just a skill that ur character innately started the game with, too many mods add their own vendors

Very nice and useful mod. An idea, what do you think of creating a mod with short jump (2/3 m), usable in combat, cost 2 AP. What do you think about it?

Your mod is not visible in the game (DE). Like your other mod, " Venom Regen - Undead Healing & Restoration ".
Please update it - maybe you just need to specify the mod's compatibility with the modern version of the game to be able to apply the mod.

Just a thought what about instead of a skill book, a single pair of unique boots called the 7 league boots. Rather iconic fantasy item there.

Still bloody useful mod no denying. Right proper jedi jump.

Awww @BarbieGirl — Thank you for reaching out and sharing this with me. I love knowing how people feel about the mods I create, and I'm happy to know you felt it was good enough to leave me a comment. Thank you so much!

@SILENCER I have to tell you I absolutely love this mod. This is one of the best I am using.

@ChuckDM, @All - At this time I will not be making any changes to the mod, as I have stopped playing Divinity: Original Sin 2. So as of now my mods will remain as-is. :8bitheart: - Silencer

Request: if/when you implement Gleyon's suggestion, please make it a separate file. For balance and multiplayer's sake, it's wonderful, but as someone who plays exclusively single player, I don't want this. Thanks.

@Gleyon - I've not been modding as of late, so I don't know when I might implement this balance request. :steamsad:
